Chapter 696 - The Hidden World

Soon, the first batch of takoyaki was completed, and as Beerus and Whis picked up a piece with their bamboo skewers and placed it into their mouths, blissful expressions instantly spread across their faces.

As the takoyaki was finished, dishes from other cooking stations were also being completed one after another, leaving Beerus and Whis in a delightful dilemma—struggling to decide which dish to try first.

After all, every aroma drifting from each stall was tantalizing, making every option seem irresistible.

Goku, however, wasn't so restrained. Having been bedridden earlier due to his heart condition, he was now starving. Without hesitation, he sat down at the nearest stall and began devouring the food enthusiastically.

Seeing this, the others couldn't help but swallow hard, and one by one, they each went to their favorite stalls to start enjoying the feast.

...

Meanwhile, unlike Goku and the others who were enjoying themselves, Eriri and her group, who were still out shopping, were gradually losing interest.

By now, it had been nearly an hour since they returned to the mall, and they had already explored every corner worth visiting. So, they decided to end their shopping trip.

Leaving the mall, the three of them returned to their sports car parked in the lot and drove out of the town.

Eriri had no intention of joining Goku and the others' food gathering, so she didn't take Arifureta and Lazuli with her via spatial teleportation to Bulma's home.

Instead, she chose to drive toward West City, wanting to enjoy the scenery along the way.

After the incidents involving the androids and Cell, the time had already reached past three in the afternoon.

By the time Eriri's sports car arrived in West City, it was already past seven in the evening.

Compared to the towns they passed along the way, West City was far more prosperous—tall buildings illuminated the skyline of this bustling metropolis. The most prominent among them was the massive structure in the city's center, with the words "CAPSULE CORP." emblazoned on its walls.

This skyscraper was owned by Bulma's family and served as the headquarters of the Capsule Corporation.

Next to the iconic building stood a dome-shaped structure, also marked with "CAPSULE CORP." This was the residence of Bulma's family.

Even though it was already past seven, the city remained brightly lit, with traffic flowing endlessly through the streets.

After another ten minutes of driving, Eriri finally arrived at the gate of Bulma's residence.

Rather than announcing her arrival like an ordinary guest by ringing the doorbell, Eriri simply brought Arifureta and Lazuli inside directly.

As for the sports car, she stored it back into her Storage System—it had served its purpose.

Upon entering Bulma's home, the first thing they saw was Bulma holding little Trunks in her arms, while Mrs. Brief was playfully entertaining him nearby.

Their quiet arrival didn't draw any attention at first, until Eriri spoke up, catching their notice.

The moment Bulma saw Eriri, her face lit up with excitement. Holding Trunks, she hurried over.

"Ah! Eriri! Finally, you're here! Welcome to my home!!!"

"You're exaggerating. We only parted ways this morning."

Eriri laughed playfully at Bulma's enthusiasm.

Though much had happened since then, not even a full day had passed.

"It's been forever! It's already been half a day!" Bulma replied with mock seriousness.

At that moment, Arifureta—who had been standing quietly beside Eriri—spoke up.

"Hey, Bulma, do your eyes only see Eriri? Can't you tell there are two other guests here too?"

"Haha, of course I noticed you, Arifureta. You're just as welcome here as she is!" Bulma said with a warm smile.

Bulma greeted Arifureta with a cheerful smile before turning her gaze toward Lazuli, who stood quietly on Eriri's other side.

"You must be Android 18, right? It's a pleasure to finally meet you~"

"Hello."

Lazuli responded with a calm nod, her tone cool and distant—nothing like the bright, lively way she spoke with Eriri.

Bulma didn't seem to mind and simply turned back to continue chatting with Eriri and Arifureta.

Behind her, Mrs. Brief's face was glowing with delight upon seeing Eriri. Much like her daughter, she was a devoted admirer of beauty—perhaps even more so. Though she usually preferred handsome men, Eriri's charm transcended gender, captivating her completely.

At that moment, she was too mesmerized by Eriri's beauty to even remember to greet her properly. It wasn't until Bulma lightly tapped her that she snapped out of her daze.

Once she came to, Mrs. Brief quickly greeted Eriri with great enthusiasm, even going so far as to invite her out for a "girls' day" the next day.

Bulma, however, was utterly embarrassed and hurriedly intervened to stop her mother's overzealous behavior.

Through Bulma's explanation, Eriri and her companions learned that Beerus and Whis had already returned to Beerus' Planet more than an hour ago, accompanied by Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks—who had all begun their apprenticeship under Whis.

As for Future Trunks, his decision to join them in training on Beerus' Planet was a calculated one. Without the experience of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from the original timeline, he knew he had no chance of defeating Future 17 and 18 if he returned now—let alone the lurking threat of Cell.

So, his plan was to train under Whis, gain overwhelming power, and then return to his future to end the apocalypse once and for all.

However, once he returned to his timeline, he would soon discover that all traces of 18's existence had mysteriously vanished. Even 17 would have no recollection of ever having a twin sister.

Aside from Goku and the others who had departed, the remaining Z Fighters stayed behind on Earth. None of them followed Goku's path to Beerus' Planet.

Given the events surrounding Cell, they realized this timeline likely still harbored another dormant Cell embryo. So they decided to travel together to the ruins of Dr. Gero's laboratory in search of it.

Meanwhile, Gohan had returned to Kame House to inform Chi-Chi about Goku's departure.

As a result, Bulma's house—which had been bustling with activity earlier—suddenly became quiet.

But with the arrival of Eriri and her group, the liveliness returned. Bulma eagerly invited several chefs to prepare an extravagant dinner for them.

After the meal, Eriri decided not to rush back to the Saekano World. Since she was already here, she planned to enjoy her stay for a few days. After all, traveling between the Dragon Ball World and her own required nothing more than a thought.

That night, Eriri, Arifureta, and Lazuli stayed overnight at Bulma's home.

Over the next few days, the trio explored every corner of West City with Bulma as their guide. Eventually, they chose an open plot of land within the city and constructed a luxurious villa spanning over a thousand square meters.

There, Eriri installed a new World Gate and granted Bulma permission to use it.

Of course, the gate retained its restriction against male passage. So even though Trunks was still just an infant, Bulma couldn't carry him through to the Saekano World.

Once everything was complete, Eriri and Arifureta took Lazuli—their newest companion—back to the Saekano World.

...

Upon returning, Eriri wasted no time before resuming her exploration of other unique universes.

Over the following months, Eriri traveled across several special universes themed around fantasy and cultivation. From countless minor worlds to grand great worlds, from the mortal realm to the immortal and divine realms, each universe layered upon the next to form magnificent, otherworldly dimensions.

Although the highest levels of these universes still only reached quasi-Level 9, their internal rankings were far more intricate—divided into far more than nine stages.

Within these fantastical realms, Eriri encountered countless peerless fairies of breathtaking beauty and even met an Empress who ruled over her entire universe.

This Empress, though millions of years old, retained the flawless face and figure of a young maiden. Yet Eriri, rather than showing herself to the Empress for a friendly exchange, decided to indulge in a mischievous prank. Hidden in the shadows, she playfully smacked the Empress on the rear, leaving behind a bright red handprint that would last for tens of thousands of years before vanishing quietly from the Empress's chamber.

The Empress, stunned and humiliated, immediately erupted with fury. The burning mark upon her flawless skin filled her with shame and rage so intense that her overwhelming aura shook the very universe itself. Countless cultivators across the realms panicked in terror, fearing they might perish beneath her wrath.

Fortunately, the storm of energy faded as quickly as it had come, and peace returned to the universe as if nothing had happened.

From the handprint's size and shape, the Empress deduced that the assailant must have been a young girl—but that didn't lessen her murderous intent toward the mysterious intruder.

She vowed silently that one day, no matter how long it took, she would find that insolent girl. Since she could no longer advance in strength, she decided to dedicate the rest of eternity to that single goal.

But none of this had anything to do with Eriri anymore. Having left her mark, she quietly departed that world with her companions, their names forgotten but their mischief immortalized.

...

Later, Eriri visited both the Marvel and DC universes. However, neither caught her interest for long; after wandering briefly, she left to explore other special universes.

Among these was one particularly lewd-themed universe, filled with countless erotic worlds. Eriri dubbed it the "Hentai-World Universe."

In this universe, every ability and power seemed designed to serve carnal desires. Even the most extraordinary powers existed solely for pleasure and depravity.

In a normal world, someone who possessed the ability to stop time might use it to rule the world, bring justice, or become a villain of unimaginable power.

But in this Hentai-World, those who wielded time-stopping powers thought only of using them to violate innocent girls.

However, since Enju Aihara and Hibiko Kobina—two little girls—were accompanying her at the time, Eriri decided against exploring the world too deeply.

She planned to return alone later to thoroughly experience the Hentai-World at her leisure. After all, she was quite interested in the voluptuous elven ladies and the stunning young maidens who inhabited those worlds—and she also wished to save the tragic heroines doomed to cruel fates.

Of course, she had no interest in those who willingly chose corruption from the very start.

Before leaving, though, she casually executed several perverted individuals who had been preparing to use hypnosis or brainwashing apps to control their classmates—or even an entire school. She also disposed of a deranged teacher plotting to assault his own stepdaughter.

After leaving the Hentai-World Universe, Eriri continued visiting various other unique universes, until finally, half a year later, she heard the familiar chime of her chat group's upgrade.
