It was shortly after that that Maxwell's parents showed up, having greeted the last of the arriving guests. Andrew could tell that they were making their way through the crowd because it rippled wherever they went. Maxwell noticed as well, but he just turned up his lips slightly and asked Andrew if he could get him another drink. Andrew did it with ease, and watched as the other alphas stared at him like they had never seen anyone like him before.
Andrew was laughing to himself as he scanned the crowd, seeing Richard with his parents, Rose and Jordan nearby. Rose was holding onto Jordan tightly, her eyes going between him and her brother and Andrew felt a twinge.
She was a possessive person by nature, but that…Andrew had a feeling that they might get some good news in the new year. He was happy to hear it.
