Chapter 187 - 186: Sherry, Peter Parker and Wanda's Dreams

After JARVIS evolved into a true artificial lifeform, the advantage was that he became far more intelligent, capable of appearing anywhere on the internet.

He could deploy powerful computational power from any corner of the world.

But the "downside" was that he developed emotions—and even a sense of personal gender identity.

Which meant he now needed his own "private space."

To accommodate this, Tony personally built a massive underground base beneath the Stark Industrial Park.

Inside, he installed a planetary-level supercomputer based on the lightbrain tech from the Stellar World, something he had developed long ago, which now served as JARVIS's mainframe.

These days, neither the Stark mansion nor Lyon's apartment had any resident JARVIS sub-programs installed anymore.

Instead, whenever someone needed him, all they had to do was call out—and JARVIS would appear from somewhere in the network.

Sure enough, as soon as Lyon finished speaking, the projector beside the dining table lit up with a loading screen.

A few seconds later, a door materialized, and JARVIS, dressed in a classic butler's uniform, stepped through with a slight bow—immaculately formal.

"Always at your service, Master Lyon," JARVIS said.

"Wow!" Sherry exclaimed. "Every time Uncle JARVIS shows up, I feel like I'm living in some giant manor from a fairy tale!"

"In fact, Miss Sherry," JARVIS placed a hand over his chest with a graceful gesture, "if you wished for one, Master Lyon would certainly buy you an estate."

"I think I'll pass… this apartment is already nice," Sherry pouted. "If we lived in a big estate, it'd be harder to see Brother Lyon."

Lyon chuckled helplessly and reached out to ruffle Sherry's hair.

"You little girl, always the sweet talker, heh?"

"So, what's the plan for today? Gonna go back up your little friends again?"

"They're not getting bullied anymore. Those kids are all scared of me now, so I don't have to go!" Sherry shook her head.

Then she raised her chin proudly. "But Peter's aunt wants to come visit us and say thank you."

"Really? That's totally fine," Lyon nodded. "But you'll have to talk to your two older sisters first and check the timing before you reply to Peter."

It had already been a month since the battle with Dormammu.

Sherry had since enrolled at Midtown High.

This story happened on her very first day at school.

That day, on her way home, she saw a group of boys in an alley bullying another kid.

So she immediately jumped off the bus and went to uphold justice.

After chasing off the bullies, she found out that the boy who had been bullied was named Peter Parker.

He was a new first-grade student who had just enrolled at the local elementary school.

On his first day, because his aunt hadn't accompanied him, a few kids mocked him, which escalated into conflict.

That ultimately led to the bullying incident.

Which just so happened to be witnessed by Sherry from the bus.

That day, after receiving Peter's heartfelt thanks, Sherry was filled with a sense of accomplishment—as if she had found her purpose for this phase of her school life.

She felt zero shame about being a middle schooler beating up elementary schoolers.

That very evening, she proudly announced at the dinner table that she was going to "do great things."

And so, by the second week, the school had already reported a major incident where Shuri had beaten up nearly all the local delinquents after school, leading to a large-scale brawl.

As a result, her legal guardian—Tony—was summoned by the school.

At the meeting, both Tony and the principal were stunned.

The principal hadn't expected that this Tony Stark wasn't just someone with the same name—it was the Tony Stark.

Tony hadn't expected that little Sherry could be so bold—beating dozens of kids to tears and then walking away like she didn't even ruffle the breeze.

"Don't tell me Lyon told you to beat up those kids?" Tony had asked her at the time.

Sherry, head tucked low, shook her head. "No… I just wanted to be a hero like you guys and protect the weak."

Tony froze on the spot. After a few seconds of silence, he pulled out a check, slapped it on the desk, said, "Fill in whatever," and left the principal's office with Sherry.

From that day on, Sherry officially became the queen of Midtown Elementary.

Some of the delinquent students she'd beaten up even started calling her "The Kingpin of the School."

It was precisely because of this nickname that, over in Hell's Kitchen on the other side of New York, the actual Kingpin took time to investigate this "Sherry."

That same night, several MIB agents showed up at his door—and broke his legs.

Clutching his shattered limbs in the dark, he didn't even have time to issue a threat before the next sentence from the agents shut him up completely:

"If you try to investigate her again, Superman will be the one knocking next."

From that day on, Kingpin didn't sleep peacefully for an entire month.

Meanwhile, Sherry—known as the "Kingpin of the School"—continued to go to school happily every day, intervening in every bullying incident she encountered.

...

After breakfast, Lyon used a cleaning charm to restore the dishes to a spotless shine.

Sherry was completely unfazed by this.

In her heart, Lyon had long since become an all-powerful being.

"I'm off to school!" Sherry called out, hopping out the door, ready to begin another day as queen of the campus.

"Sit on the school bus properly! Don't go jumping out the window again!"

Lyon watched her head out the door, then turned toward his room.

His gaze passed through the wall.

He could see the sleeping Natasha sisters.

Their soft hair draped over the pillows, and the slanting sunlight streaming in through the window lit up every one of their eyelashes—yet it wasn't enough to wake them from their deep sleep.

Lyon couldn't help but shake his head. "Always so weak but love to play hard."

Ever since the end of the dimensional war, the sisters had become unusually enthusiastic—always trying to wear him out completely.

But two little Black Widows, even though enhanced by his SS serum, alone weren't nearly enough to satisfy him, let alone drain his energy.

He glanced at the time. "It's not even 8 o'clock yet. Wanda's supposed to come over later to ask about her dreams—should be a few more hours."

"I can get in a bit more cultivation." Lyon sat down on the sofa and closed his eyes.

Within his inner world, the World Ring that housed a hundred thousand suns constantly radiated dazzling sunlight.

Under its rays, every second saw his power increase at an astonishing rate.

Half an hour later—

A short chime at the door pulled Lyon out of his comprehension of the cosmic laws.

When he opened the door, it was Wanda—alone.

Today, she wore a red dress, white heels, and even had on light makeup.

She looked like a seductive, blooming rose.

"You're here early. Sherry just left," Lyon said, leading Wanda into the living room.

"If I had left any later, Pietro would've woken up. And the moment he's up, he'll insist on tagging along and asking for the day off too," Wanda replied.

The two sat across from each other.

Lyon raised a hand, causing the fridge door to open with a flick. "Want something to drink?"

"Got any milk? Warm, if possible," Wanda said, placing both hands on her lap.

Even though she had visited many times before, she still got nervous whenever she was alone with Lyon.

"No problem. Accio Warm milk!" Lyon cast a spell—instantly heating the milk, pouring it into a cup, and floating it over to Wanda.

She was already used to this kind of thing. "Thanks."

After taking a gentle sip of the milk, Lyon asked, "Shall we begin?"

Wanda nodded and slowly began, "Last night… I dreamed of that woman again…"

Ever since awakening her Chaos Magic, Wanda had been having dreams nearly every night.

In her dreams, she would become different versions of herself from other worlds.

In some, she was a mutant. In others, she had massacred Kamar-Taj.

There were even dreams where she was plotting revenge against Tony Stark from within a Hydra base.

The constant nightmares left Wanda restless and uneasy, so—at Pietro's suggestion—she turned to "all-knowing Lyon" for help.

Lyon analyzed the causes behind the nightmares and cast calming spells to soothe her mind.

They'd been doing these sessions for over half a month now.
