Ruoning emerged from the secret chamber on the twelfth floor, dusted off her hands, and cheerfully informed Yino that she had taken care of everything.
Yino found this rather peculiar.
He tilted his head, attempting to peer into the room, but Ruoning subtly shifted to block his view.
However, from the corner of his eye, Yino noticed a drop of blood slide off the purple-gold glazed sword the young woman was hiding behind her back.

The blood droplet hit the floor, its sound piercingly loud in the silent palace.
Yino raised his eyebrow slightly, a trace of concern flickering in his eyes:

The young woman in green clothes, knowing she couldn't hide the truth, relaxed her lightly bitten cherry lips.
