Leo leaned down slightly, his lips brushing the shell of her ear, his voice low and teasing as he whispered, "If you don't want me to wear black… what am I supposed to wear, hmm? Maybe I should come naked?"
Bella gasped, eyes widening as she shoved him away lightly. "Not funny!" she huffed, her cheeks glowing pink. "Naked? You're so shameless, Leo! There are so many colors! White, navy, gray… and maybe"—she lifted her chin defiantly—"maybe you should wear pink like Jay!"
Leo froze, horrified. "No. Not pink."
He genuinely could not imagine himself in Jay's bubblegum shade.
Bella smirked, proud of shocking him.
Leo sighed in defeat, slipping his hand around her waist and pulling her close. "Fine," he murmured, surrendering completely, "whatever you choose… wifey."
Bella stopped breathing.
Her eyes widened, her lips parted, and warmth crept all the way to her ears. "W… wifey?" she whispered, her voice tiny.
Leo only gave her a small smirk, fully aware of the effect.
