Seeing the tears, the flush of overwhelmed sensation on her beautiful face, something tender and fierce clenched in his chest. He lowered his head, his breath warm against her damp eyelids. With infinite gentleness, he pressed his lips to each one in turn, kissing away the gathering moisture.
"Shhh, my bunny," he whispered against her skin, his voice a rough, soothing rumble. "My perfect, perfect girl. I've got you. Just breathe." He didn't dare move, holding himself perfectly still, letting her adjust, letting her absorb the incredible feeling of being so completely filled and claimed. His own need was a roaring fire in his veins, but it was nothing compared to the need to care for her in this vulnerable, exquisite moment. Every nerve in his body screamed for motion, but he remained a statue of devotion, his forehead pressed to hers.
