"This is definitely not the style of humans. So, the legends might be true. A kingdom of dark elves did live here." Raven muttered, eyes widening in shock, "Hmmm… the realm of macabre is centuries. Older than most civilizations. Does that mean magic existed before the Advent?"
Killian turned back, narrowing his eyes. "Seems like you are catching on well. It's not exactly a secret."
Raven nodded. Of course, the top clans would understand the nature of the world, but, for someone like him, a bumpkin that had not been beyond the walls of Charmire, there was so little he knew about the world. Nonetheless, when he thought back on his various special encounters, it all made sense that magic existed before the Advent.
