Chapter 218 - Ch 215 - The Emotional Strike

The dust hung heavy in the air, refusing to settle as if even the land itself feared what was about to unfold. The fractured stone crumbled at the edges of the massive crater, and the ground still trembled faintly from the impact that had driven the strongest creature in the world into the earth.

From within that destruction, a shadow moved, and then Kaido slowly rose.

Using his massive kanabō, Hassaikai, as support, he pushed himself upright. The sheer weight of his body caused the cracked ground beneath him to groan and sink further, fragments of rock grinding under his feet.

"Worororo…" His laughter rumbled low and deep, vibrating through the air like distant thunder.

"That's some great punch…"

He tilted his head slightly before spitting a mouthful of blood onto the ground. The crimson stained the broken earth, yet there was no anger in his expression, only exhilaration.

With a casual yet powerful motion, he lifted his weapon and swung it through the air.

Whoosh!

A violent gust followed, and the lingering dust was blown away instantly, revealing his towering figure in full.

The sight was enough to make even seasoned warriors hesitate.

Despite taking a direct blow infused with both Armament and Conqueror's Haki, there was barely a mark on him.

Standing before him, Luffy watched intently and then, slowly, a grin spread across his face. He cracked his knuckles, the sound sharp and deliberate.

"No wonder you're called the Strongest Creature…" His voice carried a quiet excitement that sent a chill through the air. "Let's have a great fight, Kaido."

He rolled his shoulders, muscles tightening as power coiled beneath his skin. "I wonder how many punches you'll be able to handle…"

Kaido's grin widened further at those words, his eyes gleaming with savage anticipation.

"Worororo… such arrogance," He said, though his tone held approval rather than insult. "I like it."

Besides Luffy, Zoro shifted his stance. His hand twitched slightly before tightening around the hilts of his swords as the thrill of battle surged through him like fire.

A grin stretched across his face, sharp and eager. "Good… Captain… switch with me."

His eyes never left Kaido. "Let me have a go too. I want to test whether his skin is really as tough as they say."

Behind him, Kuina lifted her blade, her expression calm yet focused, her eyes reflecting the storm above. She said quietly. "I agree... A chance like this doesn't come twice."

Her grip tightened just enough to betray her excitement.

At the same time, Yamato stepped forward slightly, her knuckles whitening around her kanabō. Her gaze locked onto Kaido, filled with years of resentment, pain, and burning determination.

"This ends today," She muttered under her breath.

But before any of them could act, Kaido moved.

Without warning, he drew his weapon back, muscles bulging as raw power surged through him. Black lightning crackled violently around the spiked club as Conqueror's Haki wrapped around it like a living force.

The air itself seemed to scream in anticipation.

Then, he lunged forward.

Bang!

The ground beneath him shattered as he propelled himself ahead with terrifying speed, his massive form cutting through the air like a falling mountain.

The kanabō descended toward Luffy with enough force to crush anything in its path.

But Luffy did not retreat as his eyes sharpened, his grin unwavering.

Instead of stepping back, he stepped forward, and his fist shot out.

Armament Haki coated his arm in deep black, while Conqueror's coating crackled around it in arcs of dark lightning.

The moment they met, they didn't touch.

Bang! Bang!

A violent burst of force erupted between them, the clash of their Haki creating a shockwave that tore through the surroundings. The ground beneath their feet cracked violently, splitting further under the immense pressure.

"Oh?" Kaido's grin widened, and he pushed harder.

Muscles flexing, veins bulging, he poured even more strength into the strike, aiming to crush Luffy through sheer dominance.

But Luffy chuckled softly.

"Heh…"

His body remained steady, unmoving as he pushed back.

The black lightning around his fist intensified as his strength surged.

Slowly, impossibly, Kaido's weapon began to shift backward.

The Yonko's eyes flickered with surprise.

Luffy was overpowering him through raw, physical strength.

For the briefest moment, Kaido was genuinely caught off guard.

And that was enough as a blur shot forward from the side.

"RAAHH!!"

Yamato charged in, her entire body moving with explosive force as she swung her kanabō. Her weapon was coated in dense Armament Haki, layered with Conqueror's infusion, black lightning dancing wildly around it as it descended toward Kaido's head.

Kaido reacted instantly.

With a sharp motion, he forced Luffy back, creating a brief opening.

Then he turned, raising his weapon as black lightning surged around the club.

Their attacks met without contact.

Bang! Bang!

The space between them exploded with power, the clash of their Conqueror's Haki creating a massive repulsion that sent shockwaves rippling across the battlefield.

The lightning split the sky above, and the ground beneath them sank further, unable to withstand the pressure of their wills colliding.

"Worororo! That's more like it!" Kaido's grin stretched wider. His voice carried excitement. "You have grown stronger... Show me more, Yamato!"

Yamato gritted her teeth, her arms trembling slightly under the force. "I'm not your daughter anymore!"

Her eyes burned with defiance. "I'll kill you!"

The two remained locked in their clash, neither giving an inch.

Behind them, Luffy rolled his shoulder slightly, as if loosening himself up again. His grin never faded.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Yamato," He said casually, though his eyes remained sharp. "This fight is mine."

Zoro stepped forward at that moment, his aura flaring.

"Enough talking," He muttered.

His swords gleamed as he shifted into a stance. "I'm getting in."

Kuina moved alongside him, her presence calm yet deadly.

"Try not to fall behind," She said softly.

Zoro smirked at her words instead. "You should worry about yourself."

------

The sky roared as black clouds twisted violently above the capital of Wano Country, lightning tearing across the heavens like cracks in reality itself. The battlefield below had already transformed into a wasteland of shattered stone and broken ground, yet the true storm had only just begun.

At the center of it all, the clash between Kaido and Yamato continued with terrifying intensity.

Their weapons hovered inches apart, never touching, yet the sheer force of their Conqueror's Haki clashing created violent shockwaves that rippled outward, distorting the air and cracking the ground further beneath their feet.

Black lightning surged wildly between them.

Kaido's grin slowly faded, and a dark, furious expression emerged in its place.

"Yamato…" His voice dropped, heavy with anger. His massive arm flexed, pushing harder against her. "Just what are you doing with the enemies?"

His eyes burned as he glared down at her. "You're my son! You're going to become the Shogun of Wano for me!"

The declaration echoed like a command rather than a statement.

The pressure behind his words intensified, as if his very will was trying to crush hers into submission.

For a brief moment, Yamato's body trembled, and her eyes darkened, veins rising along her arms as her grip on the kanabō tightened.

"Fuck off, you cow bastard!" Her voice exploded across the battlefield, filled with years of suppressed hatred. "I'm not your puppet anymore!"

Her Haki surged as the black lightning around her weapon intensified, crackling violently as her aura flared.

With a sudden burst of strength, she broke through Kaido's defense, which faltered for a split second.

Yamato stepped in as her body twisted as she swung her kanabō with full force.

BOOM!

"What?!" Kaido's eyes widened in genuine surprise as the blow connected directly with his stomach.

The impact wasn't as explosive as Luffy's earlier strike, but it was solid.

Kaido's massive body was sent flying backward, crashing through the shattered ground before slamming violently into the earth once again.

His kanabō slipped from his grasp, spinning through the air before embedding itself into the ground with a heavy thud.

The cloud of dust rose once more, swirling around the fallen Yonko.
