Chapter 269 - Chapter 266: The Liquid Plan

Ryu's gaze swept over Dan, Tsunade, and Yuki. "Now that we have an untrained Fuinjutsu seal known as [BodyGPT]," he began, his voice firm with purpose, "our next plan of action is clear: we must train it to work."

"To truly make this a fully functional blessing seal, we need to train it on someone with absolutely no prior combat knowledge, starting from zero," Ryu explained, his voice calm and deliberate. He outlined a two-phase approach, his gaze settling on his family members.

"First, basic body movements will be trained using Souji. Despite his severe injuries, he will provide the fundamental data. After that comes training for complex movements, like running, then simple fighting stance and throwing a sense, then an E-rank academy taijutsu, and then Genin-level D and C level taijutsu."

"Souji?" Tsunade questioned, her brow furrowing slightly. "He's still recovering, Ryu. And Jiyuu's condition... He is bedridden. There can be more suitable test subjects."

Yuki added, a hint of concern in her voice. "Yes… are they truly suitable for such an experimental process?"

Ryu maintained eye contact with calm assurance, exuding confidence. "Precisely because of their conditions, they are the best suitable candidate for training this seal."

Ryu continued, "Souji, having lost much of his motor control, is a perfect 'blank slate'. The seal won't have to contend with ingrained, incorrect muscle memory, allowing us to input pure, fundamental movement data. Subsequently, the training would advance with Jiyuu, whose lifelong struggle with brittle bone syndrome meant he had minimal ingrained movement patterns, making him an ideal candidate for further refinement in more active movements. Combining and reinforcing the training data from both Souji and Jiyuu will solidify [BodyGPT]'s core functionality. The basic body movements."

"Ryu," Yuki began, her expression shifting to one of deep concern, "this is an incredible plan for training the seal, but what about the second step…the writing part? This fuinjutsu seal is so vast... is it even possible to write it on a body?"

Tsunade's brow furrowed, her own confidence wavering. "She's right, Ryu. The seal is too big. To write it on a small body would require impossibly small fonts and an incredible level of precision. Even without small fonts, writing it on paper was too difficult of a task for the best of us."

Dan nodded in agreement. "The traditional method involves preparing a large ritual circle to 'burn' the seal into the skin, which is a painstaking and dangerous process. We are not ready for that with an entirely new seal."

Ryu flashed a confident smile. "No need for a ritual circle," he stated, his voice calm and steady. "You're all forgetting that my speciality is my memory. I will write the seal directly and flawlessly, without any ritual."

A beat of stunned silence followed. Tsunade's eyes went wide with a flicker of awe, and a slow, impressed smile spread across her lips. Only he could say something like that and mean it, her mind mused. "This is not arrogance but a statement of fact. This level of perfect recall and precision is a skill almost unheard of, even among legendary masters. His control over Fuinjutsu is... without equal."

Yuki watched her adopted son with a look of immense wonder. The initial fear was quickly replaced by a sense of deep, parental pride.

"This is my son," she thought, a cold shiver of amazement running down her spine. "He's so far beyond all of us. He's rewriting the rules of what's possible."

Dan simply stared, feeling a quiet sense of respect growing in his heart as he marveled at Ryu's unwavering confidence. He had seen Ryu perform countless impossible feats, and yet, each time, the sheer scale of the boy's genius still managed to surprise him. He had grown accustomed to feeling awe in the presence of such extraordinary talent.

Ryu, seeing their reactions, gave a soft, reassuring chuckle. "Don't worry," he said, his voice gentle. "I am confident in my abilities. In fact, think about it."

Ryu gestured to the air in front of them, where the phantom image of the [BodyGPT] seal still shimmered from their earlier discussions within the [Mind Palace].

Ryu said, "A perfect copy of the entire seal is right here, a flawless blueprint, ready to be copied, and it's not on any paper; it is displayed directly from my memory. That's the level of precision I have when it comes to Fuinjutsu. I won't be making a mistake."

Yuki released a long, shaky breath, her relief palpable as tension visibly melted from her features. "Well, that's a weight off my mind. But that brings me to my next point... this [BodyGPT] is an incredible Fuinjutsu, but it's so complex. You're the only one who can write such a vast seal on a body using chakra alone. Writing it with anything else would be moot, as it would simply wash away. But won't that make it out of reach for the general public?"

Ryu smiled and said, "You raise a very important question, Mother Yuki. And you're absolutely right… for now. But I have plans for an electronic replacement of [BodyGPT]. Imagine something like Neuralink, with subdermal output nodes and other advanced interfaces that could make this technology accessible to many more, integrating directly with the nervous system and major muscles."

Ryu threw out technical terms like "bio-integrated circuits" and "neural mesh networks", then added with a knowing smile, "And I'm already thinking of a prototype to combine electronics and Fuinjutsu too if the rest didn't work."

Dan's eyes widened in silent awe. "What the hell?" he thought. "He combined medical ninjutsu with Fuinjutsu, and now he wants to combine electronics? I would say that's impossible, but knowing him, he isn't saying it without having already figured it out."

"That boy Jiyuu with fragile bones," Tsunade interjected, her expression turning serious, "how is the progress on his planned medical treatment coming along?"

Ryu nodded. "The testing of my artificial and supplementary hormones, designed to aid in bone strengthening, is in its final stages. I've confidently entrusted that work to Nono Yakushi."

"Nono Yakushi?" Tsunade repeated, a smile touching her lips. "You've left it in capable hands, then. She's a well-respected medical ninja." Yuki chimed in, "Indeed. Her reputation precedes her."

Ryu then turned to Tsunade. "Auntie Tsunade, you remember my [Carbon Control] ability, correct? The one I demonstrated in the [Mind Palace] where my future self could create weapons and armour from his body?"

Tsunade's brow furrowed slightly in thought. "Yes, the one that allows you to manipulate carbon at a molecular level. Why?"

"Certain allotropes of carbon are body-neutral," Ryu explained. "They can be used as permanent subdermal implants at key points to significantly strengthen Jiyuu's major bones."

Tsunade's eyes widened. "Subdermal implants? To strengthen bones? That's... ingenious!" She paused, considering. "Yes, that would certainly fortify him. But even with such strengthening, he still wouldn't possess the inherent physical capabilities of a shinobi."

Ryu's smile conveyed a deeper, unspoken strategy. "I'm well aware of that, Auntie. And I have further plans. Jiyuu will become a formidable shinobi in a few years."

His team, though left in suspense, found reassurance in his confident demeanor, drawing strength and trust from his unwavering belief in the plan.

Yuki, intrigued, commented, "Your plan must be very solid to inspire such confidence, Ryu."

Ryu's smile broadened. "My plan isn't solid, Mother Yuki," he replied, "it's more or less liquid."

Tsunade groaned playfully. "I hate it when you keep us in suspense like this, Ryu!"

Ryu chuckled. "But have I ever failed to deliver on that buildup of suspense?"

Tsunade conceded, shaking her head in amused disbelief. "No, you haven't... all your ideas are out of this world. Sometimes, I truly think you are from out of this world."

Dan, listening to Tsunade's exasperated remark, let his gaze linger on Ryu.

"Out of this world?" he mused internally. She says it as a joke, but sometimes... sometimes I truly wonder. No one, not even Mito-sama or Tobirama, conceived of things like this. Electronic replacements for Fujitsu? Subdermal carbon implants? A 'liquid' plan to turn a boy with brittle bones into a shinobi? It's beyond genius; it's... alien. A quiet sense of awe, mixed with a familiar protectiveness, settled over him.

Ryu, meanwhile, felt a flicker of amusement at Tsunade's comment. "If only she knew how right she was," he thought, a private smile playing on his lips. "Maintaining this facade is becoming increasingly entertaining. They call my ideas 'out of this world', and in a very literal sense, they are." He merely offered a triumphant, knowing grin, clearly relishing her exasperation.

"You brat," Tsunade muttered, her annoyance quickly turning into playful exasperation at his previous smile. She pointed a finger at him, her eyes narrowed. "Sometimes, I just want to peek inside your head to unravel the mysteries of that brain of yours!"

"I can show you what's in my head, Auntie… I have an MRI scan prepared for that, Auntie. It was a difficult task to do it on myself."
