Brahmanism has always circulated the saying of the reincarnation of the True Buddha from the beginning to the end.
Before each generation of the True Buddha enters nirvana, a reincarnated child always appears in advance. This reincarnated child is said to have inherited the soul of the True Buddha, born with Wisdom Root and Buddha Nature, capable of carrying all the Buddhist Doctrine of the previous True Buddha and can succeed the position of the previous True Buddha, becoming the new True Buddha.
Beneath Brahmanism, there are many religious districts, and actually, there is also competition between each district. If a True Buddha is born from one of these districts, it will be a great honor for that district, significantly boosting its reputation, thus leading to an increase in followers.
Therefore, everyone in each district desires for the True Buddha to appear in their own district. The reason for their argument is precisely because of this.
