Keru was sent by the supreme commander, so he wasn't worried Rumus would do anything to him.
"Put your guns down," Keru shouted, "I was sent by the supreme commander to take Rumus back. You are soldiers of the state, you should know what you're doing. You serve the country, not an individual."
Keru spoke with righteous indignation.
"I don't care who you represent. If you dare to touch our commander, I promise you'll be lying here," one of them said fiercely to Keru.
Only then did Keru begin to frown; he hadn't expected Rumus's subordinates to be so loyal.
"Correct, anyone who dares to touch the commander, I'll fight you to the death."
"Fight him to the death."
The people around all looked at Keru menacingly.
Keru felt a bit anxious inside but forced himself to remain calm. He looked at Rumus and sneered coldly, "You're forming factions, do you know the consequences?"
"Leave now, don't interfere with me," Rumus said bluntly.
