"Teacher, what could have released such tremendous power?" asked Hu Liena.
"The source of the shockwave is at the center of the Star Dou Forest. That is where spirit beasts older than one hundred thousand years reside," Bibi Dong said.
"But no great beast could cause such a massive shockwave. Whatever created this is far more powerful than any spirit beast or even a Title Douluo," she added.
Just then, the doors opened and a man entered the great hall, kneeling before Bibi Dong.
"Your Highness, a massive shockwave emerged from the Star Dou Forest and caused extensive damage to Spirit City. We have managed to control the chaos," said Ghost Douluo.
"Restore order to the city and prepare a team to investigate the origin of the shockwave," ordered Bibi Dong. Ghost Douluo disappeared into thin air.
"Hu Liena, focus on reaching the 40th rank," instructed Bibi Dong as she exited the grand hall of the Supreme Pontiff Palace and returned to her private quarters.
She gazed out her window toward the Star Dou Forest. "Whoever released that shockwave is close to a god," she murmured, as the Rakshasa God's mark briefly appeared between her brows.
Wang Lin's Pov
Gu Yuena and the other great beasts of the Star Dou Forest watched the aftermath of Wang Lin's display in disbelief. Wang Lin turned to the Silver Dragon King.
"Now that I've learned the Dragon God's Claw technique, I can leave, right?" asked Wang Lin.
Gu Yuena scrutinized him. Wang Lin expected her to reject him again. If she did, he was prepared to escape. But her response surprised him.
"You can leave. I will not go back on my promise," said Gu Yuena.
"But my lord," interrupted Di Tian. Before he could say more, Gu Yuena gestured for him to stop.
"There is nothing more to discuss. I will allow you to leave on one condition. Just as I kept my end of the bargain, you must help heal me as promised," said Gu Yuena.
"I will definitely heal you after I return," replied Wang Lin.
"My lord, even though he is strong, the strongest of human spirit masters can still harm him. Why not let the Red Mastiff act as his guardian?" said Di Tian.

Wang Lin left the gathering, followed by the Scarlet King, leaving Gu Yuena and the other great beasts behind.

Wang Lin walked westward through the Star Dou Forest, with the Scarlet King following closely behind. He could have flown, but the three-headed Devil Mastiff could not, so they continued on foot.
Wang Lin remained alert, searching for resources to fill his empty slots, especially spirit plants and rare spirit beasts.
After several hours of travel, their journey came to a halt when a tiger with wings blocked their path.
