" You and I know you say that not because you care but because of your fear, you are so scared of finding out that I'm the one aren't you ? So sad it wasn't your favourite golden boy "

" on the contrary it has everything to do with him , I suggest you accept this new era with open arms , because either way ... it will not be in your favour " I suck In a breath as I faze into vharûn , ignoring my mother's pleas.
When the sky of vharanor is clear , it only means that vharûn is in turmoil , the sharp gust of wind greets me , thunder reverbrates through the woods , trees sent flying, The distant call of beasts , the howling of the night and the smell of blood , his blood .. I see he didn't get very far .
"Son of darkness " it crawls to me, broken limbs in all glory .. a woman of virtue once , sought out by men and women now ridiculed to minced limbs and scattered sockets " Will I get to taste your sweet meat today ? I hear it's quite delectable "
" Depends on who tells the story , and it depends on what meat you Speak off "
" son of darkness " she hisses " blood prince of vharanor , demon keeper of the realm , such an honour "

" You always knew It was you " she rolls to the side , bones creaking like an old wooden bridge " but the question is .. shall you return alive, stronger ? Or weak and dead?"
" Let's find out" she cackles as she scurries off .
The deeper I go, the nastier it gets , spirits of the undead, the ones who couldn't cross swarm around me , a pool of death .
"Son of darkness , do you know what your future entails ?"

" MED!" She screams rushing for me " How dare you !"
" Dare me what ?" I cock my head innocently to the side
" Your future is quite the roller coaster " she says through clenched gums , there's not exactly enough teeth in that mouth to clench ..
" I'm quite the Adventurous one "
" That... you are demon keeper , that... you are"
" is this the part I kill you ?"
" Me ? Why of course not , you think I underestimate your powers ?"
" Then who am I killing ?" I ask my patience snapping short .
" The right choice was made , so quick to violence ... your bitch of a brother tried a dialogue first "
" Damn false bravado " I scoff catching her by the throat! " Tell me Medusa , what does my future entail?" She struggles in my grip, bones cracking and bending trying to find an out " I suggest you answer me , all it takes is a snap "
" Love !" She hurriedly speaks
" love ? ME ? I know you are in a very unfavourable postion ,but you don't have to shit me "
" Why would I shit you ... as you say? There is love in your future Devil , one quite unexpected, one confusing , and intoxicating , but there lays the betrayal of the ones you once trusted the most "

" I've told you everything now let me go" I fling her against a tree stump, she lands with a thud wincing in pain .
"It is time",she chokes out .. Shadows crawl from below , and the sky cries down on me .
I grunt as the shadows slip beneath my being and existence , tearing and breaking down .. becoming a part of me , a part of this painful existence and I'm brought to my knees , a painful sound tears from my throat , my hands buried beneath the dirt , I can feel it surging through my veins , mine , my birth right .
" Son of darkness , demon keeper , blood prince, soul forger ... Devil who Damns us all , you may rise "
" didn't need an invitation to " I Rise on shaky knees , breathing in the air I didn't know I lost
" Bend it to your will " That I will .. I take one finally look at her
" I never really liked you Med " she hisses at the nickname " still don't " I turn abruptly pinning her head against a tree " you don't belong here Med " saying the nickname again , because I can .
" No .. No No please ! I won't cause you any trouble ! Tamper justice with mercy "
" what do you think this is ? Heaven ?" She struggles against the grip of the shadows as they swirl around her " When you get to the Abyss , do spread the word , it's a new devil in town " her screams pierce through the realms as she's obliterated, of course even I know she's still fine , just locked in the abyss , only time she's being seen is if a summoning is made , and I doubt anyone is going to do that soon .

Mhorvael's face is the first thing I'm greeted with as I cross the realms
" Mhorvael "
" Demon keeper " she smirks walking back inside , a woman of little words , My mother comes rushing towards me
" You did it" she isn't happy about it , I know but she has no choice
" of course I did , did you doubt it mother?" She shakes her head pathing to the side , everyone else is lined up, to greet the keeper , Devil sounds weird don't you think ?.
Court room.....
" Where is vaerith mother ?" I ask as I sit down
" he was meant to be there to welcome you , I'll get him " she signals for a maid to get him .
Few moments later , the same maid comes back with worry etched on her features .. I didn't need to ask , I knew .
" he's gone isn't he ?" She nods , head bowed
" gone ? What ?- do .. " She swallows the lump in her throat
" Your son is a coward , so he did what cowards do , he couldn't bare to see me so he left , quite a shame if you ask me " her face morphs from shock to pain, and in that moment .. I knew this didn't only affect her , it affects me , she's going to need an anchor , and whether I like It or not .. she needs a new golden child. I'm a replacement, I scoff .
"How could he leave ?" The temperature drops drastically , the pain of the queen is felt. Reluctantly I go over to her , comforting her , I've never done it before .. it was always vaerith , so sealing my faith I become what she wants , till the coward is back ..
"Oh my sweet boy " she smiles at me , cupping my face within her hands and I cringe inwardly. She's already forgotten the pain , now all she sees is me , she remembered her two kids but loves one , and I just took the spot of the one .
She wasn't always like this, Once she was a young demon , almost normal .. but like many before her she faced Medusa , she thought she could take the old hag and instead was blessed with a curse , to leach onto the first feeling of comfort she feels , from whoever , so you see ... if I hadn't and another did , it would have been drastic , imagine having a step demon father from a valley of peasants because your mother Is a walking whore.
