Ling Zhenfei was just contemplating how to escape when he glanced ahead and was stunned; a few small black dots suddenly returned from afar, including one enormous figure—it was the Giant Eagle that had flown off to chase Chi Tiger that was coming back.
Ling Zhenfei was greatly alarmed; this Giant Eagle was the aerial ruler of this area. If it were to attack Ling Zhenfei in the air, there would be no escape at all.
Suddenly, the Giant Eagle seemed to have discovered something and accelerated drastically, spreading its wings; its speed was astonishing, quickly closing in on Ling Zhenfei's position.
The eagle's sight was incredibly keen; it saw Ling Zhenfei from a distance and seemed to recognize him. It suddenly let out a long cry, soared higher, and then, like an arrow leaving the bowstring, shot towards Ling Zhenfei.
Ling Zhenfei saw the fierce Giant Eagle swooping towards him and knew this was bad; the eagle's strength was too overpowering.
