Chiba lay on the ground, watching Xu Fan and Igarashi appear at the entrance of the main hall, feeling a blur in his mind.
To buy time for Xu Fan, he single-handedly held off the Heavenly Witch Sect.
Though he couldn't hold on for long, he at least did his best.
Lying in the hall waiting to die, he thought he'd never see Xu Fan again. But unexpectedly, Xu Fan appeared.
"How come you're with him..."
Looking at Igarashi not far away, Chiba was surprised.
He couldn't understand how the two suddenly got together.
"That's none of your concern."
"I'm back to tell you, I've done what I promised you."
Xu Fan was unable to explain everything with Igarashi and didn't bother to explain.
He came back just to tell Chiba that Asao Mai had been rescued.
"Where...where is she?"
Upon hearing this news, Chiba suddenly got excited, as if coming back to life.
He searched for a moment and quickly noticed Asao Mai on Igarashi's back.
