Sabrina walked down to the dinning hall, it was a night celebration that they were attending and Selene was already in the carriage waiting for her,
"You look amazing, Sabrina, I almost didn't recognize you but of course you are such a beauty," Lucia commented on her outfit while Sabrina blushed, she didn't put any make up on and it was only a simple necklace that she had on and matching ear rings,
"Thank you, Milady,"
"Now hurry, Selene is waiting for you in the royal carriage,"
Once she got to the royal carriage and climbed in, she saw Selene already sitting and glaring at her as they were the only ones in the carriage. The coachman suddenly moved the carriage dark in the night, there was total silence in the carriage as Sabrina could feel Selene just glaring at her,
"What celebration are we attending please?" Sabrina broke the silence turning to face Selene who was sitting opposite her but farther at the end of the seat, Selene frowned,
"When we get there why don't you find out by yourself," Selene said glaring at her without even hiding it,
"It was a simple question, Selene. And why do you despise me so much, I don't remember being bad to you," Sabrina said making a conversation between them and she just also really want to know why Selene was like this towards her,
"You want to know why?" Selene asked with a grin on her face, Sabrina nodded knowing whatever she had to say was something completely different,
"Yes,"
"Well it's simple, you do not belong in my world and I want you out of my brother's life," Selene said,
"But he chose me and I also didn't want to get married to him in the first place but was forced to, this was not my fault-"
"It is. If you were really feeling forced you'd try to escape from the mansion and run far away where no one will be able to find you but instead you made the mansion your home and now look at you," she said in disgust, "You are carrying his baby,"
Sabrina had nothing else to say to her because she knew Selene will never take her explanation so she kept quiet,
On arriving at the entrance of a huge mansion, tho not even half the size of the mansion they were coming from, they could already see carriages and elite wearing wealthy looking gowns and the men too were on expensive attires,
Sabrina followed Selene closely as she didn't know anyone here and it was dark in the night, Selene noticing this turned to look at Sabrina with a frown,
"Once we get into that mansion make sure you don't stick to me like a leech, I don't want you being all over me," with that she walked into the mansion and the butler welcomed them both,
"Selene! I thought you wouldn't be able to make it as you said you had other places to go to," A lovely looking lady rushed towards them with a smile on her beautiful face, she was brown haired with brown eyes, she appears to be human but strangely Sabrina didn't think she was. The lady was dressed in the finest looking gown and her hair was done so beautifully,
"Fallon, you look lovely," Selene said to the lady, who halt in front of them and smiled widely, "Happy birthday to you, Fallon,"
"Thank you and thanks for coming, I really didn't think you'd make it," The lady named Fallon spoke,
So she was the birthday person, Sabrina thought to herself as she said, "Happy birthday to you, Lady Fallon,"
Fallon looked at the person who wished her and was a little confused as to who she was, but seeing her with Selene she smiled at the really beautiful looking lady with shocking curves,
"Thank you, and what is your name?" Fallon asked with a smile, "Is she a friend of yours, Selene?"
Selene frowned when she remembered of how Sabrina had tagged along, she just nodded to Fallon's question, who smiled brightly, then Selene uttered, "She's my brother's second wife,"
"I'm Sabrina," Sabrina responded with a smile and Fallon mouth fell open before she quickly shut it,
"Oh your highness, it's nice to see you, I wasn't able to attend the wedding, my apologies," she said with an apologetic look on her face
"That's fine," Sabrina smiled back. Selene noticing how Sabrina was already trying to get close to her friend, interrupted them,
"Their marriage was is a mistake now that Rosaline is carrying Lucian's heir," Selene cut in glaring at Sabrina which Fallon caught, then she said,
"Where's Luke?" Selene asked Fallon, Luke was Fallon's elder brother, who was also good looking, females always wanted to be around him and get his attention but he was someone who always carried a straight face and didn't smile at all,
"You know him, he is always after business and doesn't stay in the mansion," Fallon said and that made Selene a little sad,
She turned to Sabrina, "Hope you don't mind staying on your own, because I and Fallon here have something to discuss," with that, not even bothering to hear Sabrina's reply, she pulled Fallon and left,
