The next morning arrived, Sabrina woke up, took her bath and dressed up then she hurriedly went to the kitchen, wanting to make breakfast but to her surprise she saw Aurora in the kitchen also cutting the potatoes,
"Good morning, princess," Aurora bowed as she turned to face Sabrina,
"Wh.... What are you doing here?" Sabrina asked as she hadn't order her to do anything and she wasn't planning to.
"Lady Sarphina asked me to prepare breakfast," Aurora spoke and that's when Sabrina's mother walked in.
"Yes I did," Sarphina said with her chin up, "It's her job, is it not?"
"But mama, I don't want to treat her like a maid, she's like an elder sister to me," Sabrina said making Aurora smiled, her princess is indeed a nice person.
"Hmph, how can you call a maid a sister," Sarphina said with a frown.
"Yes I know she works at the palace but can we please not treat her like a maid here and make her feel like family instead?" Sabrina said as she sat down staring at her mother,
"Hmph, whatever. Let her finish that first," Sarphina said as she sat in front of her daughter, "How do they treat you over there? Does your husband now love you?"
"I don't know, mother but yes the Queen and King treats me well.... So does the rest," she lied but her mother knew better and just hummed.
After breakfast, she got ready to leave for her friend Elena's house,
"Please let me come with you, my lady," Aurora said but Sabrina shook her head,
"No stay here and rest, you can go wherever you like, I don't want to treat you like a servant, so you don't have to follow me wherever I go, okay," Sabrina said and she just nodded with a smile,
"Thank you,"
"You don't have to thank me, Aurora,"
Sabrina walked out of the house, the guard wanted to also go with her but she managed to convince him and make him stay after lying to him that she wanted to go meet with Lucian,
"Sabrina! What are you doing here in Hallow?" Elena asked shocked to see her friend at her house,
"I came to see you and mama," Sabrina smiled as she embraced her friend, "Oh I miss you so much, Elena, you don't know how much,"
"Aw I do too and I'm happy to see you," Elena embraced her back,
They sat and discussed for a long time, Elena's mother wasn't at home, she had gone to the market and so had Sabrina's mother too,
"Is he treating you well now, Sabrina?" Elena asked watching the way her friend mood suddenly change,
"He does now," she replied simply,
"Do you love him?"
"I don't,"
"Are you sure?"
"Elena, stop asking!" Sabrina glared at her friend playfully who just grinned watching her quietly, "What! I don't love him, he's a jerk,"
"Are you sure he's not a sweetheart instead?" Elena chuckled and Sabrina reddened,
"He isn't!" They both laughed for a while before it died down.
"How's the baby?"
"Healthy," Sabrina replied with a grin,
"Aw I'm gonna be an aunt very soon," Elena said excitedly making Sabrina chuckle,
"You will,"
Together that evening they walked out of the house, Sabrina wanted to see all her old friends, she missed them after all,
"How do you do, Mrs Fisher?" Sabrina said as they came across the woman, she was busy discussing with Mrs Hooke along with another woman,
Mrs Fisher turned to look at her and her eyes widen, "Sabrina? What are you doing here in Hallow?" She asked the same question others kept asking too,
"Look at you, our pretty girl have become even prettier," Mrs Hooke said with a smile on her face, she really liked Sabrina because she had always been a sweet girl and when she heard that she had been chosen by the Prince to be his second wife, she had been happy for her,
"Greetings, Mrs Hooke," Sabrina smiled back at the gentle woman, "I came to see you all as I was missing you all," Sabrina answered to Mrs Fisher question,
"Who is this, Patricia?" The other lady with them asked Mrs Fisher,
"She's Sarphina's daughter, Alexa," Mrs Fisher replied,
"Oh the one who got married to the Prince?" The woman asked with her smile on her face, the woman turned out to be Beth's mother. Mrs Fisher was someone acquainted with other wealthy people because of her background, her nephew was a Alpha of Alexa daughter and the rest of the werewolf clan.
"Greetings, my lady," Sabrina along the with Elena said,
"Life in the castle is amazing I know, and you are quite lucky that the Prince favours you when they are others he could pick," said Alexa and Sabrina along with the rest knew what the woman was trying to say,
"Come on, our Sabrina is a gem, she is so beautiful that the Prince couldn't resist her charm," said Mrs Fisher with a smile on her face as she stared at Sabrina.
"The village festival is in three days time, we hope you will be celebrating with us?" Mrs Hooke asked,
"Of course she will be," it was Elena who responded both excited and happy that her friend was here and would be celebrating with them.
"Yes, Milady,"
She spent the rest of the day with Elena before heading back home, that day she slept thinking of only one person, which was Lucian.
Lucian stared at the reaper in his room, "How is she?" He asked the creature who stood in front of him,
"Fine. She was out with friend," Ian the reaper spoke,
"Okay. I want you to look after her, no harm must come to her," said Lucian in thought, "Now leave," and in a blink of eye, the creature vanished. Lucian sat for a while staring into emptiness, just like he was feeling, he hadn't expected her to decide to stay away from him and that still annoyed him, he glared. But he would make sure that she is safe and in no harm and Ian could do that even if Sabrina didn't want him near her.
The next day was like the previous as Sabrina enjoyed her time with her friend, Elena. They went to Hallow market and bought somethings their mother sent them, but didn't know they would be coming across the three witches,
"Oh look who we have here?" Beth said with a grin on her face, "The bitch who snatches anyone's husband for herself," she said and both Penelope and Vivian laughed out.
