Chapter 96 Raising the Strength of Allies
Karn stood in the open doorway of his room at the Royal Guest House, staring at the two familiar faces before him. Shakshi and Mrityunjay looked exhausted. Their faces were pale, their hair was slightly messy, and their Nalanda student robes were covered in grey dust from head to toe. They must have travelled non-stop without a single moment of rest.
"What are you both doing here?" Karn asked, his voice filled with surprise. He quickly stepped aside, opening the door wider.
"Come in, quickly. Sit down and rest."
Mrityunjay groaned and walked slowly into the room, practically throwing himself onto the nearest soft wooden chair. He let out a long sigh as his body sank into the cushions. "Oh, thank the heavens. My legs feel like they are made of lead. We ran all the way from the train station because we did not want to miss you."
