"Hello, I'm Draco, Draco MALFOY." As soon as he heard this annoying introduction, Saku just knew that he's in deep shit trouble. He sighed heavily. He said stoically hoping that the blonde brat would just leave him out of whatever shit he's pulling. "I'm Ryomen Saku."
Saku was already informed what Slytherin do and believe. He blankly looked at his collar which had turned into green color. This was the worst house possible to Ryomen Saku who might not have pure-blood lineage. He thought he would go to Ravenclaw or Gryfinndor when he first heard about four different houses. He looked around the hall trying to find the first years from other houses. His eyes full of longing as he saw them integrating into the houses well.
He glanced around the table. Every brat here raised their nose as they talked to each other. They introduced themselves by emphasizing their surnames. They did not talk about what they do, what they are interest in, what their dream is just like the normal children. They talked about their parents, their manors, the prices of their favorite toys and so on. Saku felt uncomfortable.
Since the start, he hadn't expected much of Hogwarts. It is a school for young wizards to learn how to wield their magic, which is similar to learning how to use guns as children. It got progressively worse as dark wizards after dark wizards were produced with all of them showcasing their graduation certificate proudly. In Ryomen Saku's opinion, Hogwarts is more of a dark wizard factory than a vibrant school.
Despite all its downsides, Hogwarts still was the most ancient and productive education institute of the world. Saku needed to be here to get a chance to fulfill his ambitions. Maybe the Sorting Hat was right about him getting sorted into Slytherin?
"Why is your hair pink? Is it a natural or is it bleached?" asked the black-haired girl with haughty attitude. "I'm Pansy Parkinson, by the way."
Saku answered in neutral tone. "It has been like this since I was born. So, natural hair." Saku thought back to the days in the dark basement, locked up together with a group of children. Those times were grim and hopeless. One of the dark robes said that the children were kidnapped with their memories wiped clean. He and others didn't even remember their names. The name Saku was given by one of the experimented children who had never returned.
"Ryomen Saku, is it? What is with your face? Why so sullen?" said a somewhat fat girl. "By the way, why haven't I ever heard of the Ryomen surname? Do you know who Ryomen are, Malfoy?"
"No I don't, Bulstrode. I am starting to think that he is at most a half-blood." said Draco Malfoy, his voice loud enough for even the second years to hear. He didn't seem to care that Saku was there listening to their conversation. It is said that before the muggle found America continent, the wizards were already in contact with each other. The distance was not an obstacle in communication for the wizards. So, even a well-trained children of pure-blood knew which families in the east were considered pure-blood.
The blatant insult made Saku twitched his lips. He hid his trembling hand under the table. 'No punching kids. No punching kids' thought Saku. He didn't want to get expelled just after arriving at Hogwarts. Besides he could tell that all these brats had a pretty strong backing. Fighting will not do him any good.
Whispers around him grew louder. However, the tension was broken when the headmaster stood up to deliver speech. All the tables were silent, seriously listening to the headmaster's warning. Saku signed in relief. He also wondered what was so special and dangerous about third floor. The strangeness of the situation made Saku looked around doubtfully. Since the third floor was so dangerous that it had to be prohibited, then why is it in a school with a bunch of children. Can the school really guarantee that no one would be killed? No one seemed to find that as inappropriate. Maybe he was being weird?
At that time, students at the Ravenclaw house made some noises. "No way!!" "Is it for real?" They were sitting at the far end of the table just like him. They might be first and second years of Ravenclaw.
Saku noticed that most of the Slytherin students had dissatisfied face. Despite the interruption, the headmaster ended the speech amiably. The shortest professor at the staff table, who might be a goblin, made some gestures to the Ravenclaw students. It seemed that the professors were quite tolerant towards students. 'Then maybe I can break a bone or two?' thought Saku, his face still devoid of emotion.
"So, are you a half-blood?" said another boy who Saku didn't recognize.
"No, I am not," said Saku. Although he wasn't sure about it himself, he didn't want to communicate with these little aristocrats anymore. They would surely ask who his parents were and what job do they do.
"So, you're a mudblood?" said Pansy Parkison. She smiled disdainfully.
A hush of silence fell as the little snakes smiled cruelly. "Mudblood as in mud and blood? So, they are calling my parents and lineage as dirty? That was surely creative or maybe not." lampooned Saku inwardly. Saku could see what they were trying to do.
If someone asked Saku what the essence of society is, he would answer 'It's the facade and deception' without a hint of hesitation. Humans wore comfortable robe and clothes at home. When they were outside, they wore the better of their possessions. Why would they do it? To fit in. These facades worked like passwords to enter a circle. A scholar associated himself with other scholars. A criminal associated himself with other criminals.
And within that society, hierarchies were built. Since a society could only occur when there were at least two people, it was a given there will be differences. Comparisons was subconsciously made. And the better and the worse emerged. The better ruled while the worse submitted.
Naturally, as trained heirs and heiresses of pure-blood families, they already had a hierarchy between them. Ryomen Saku who was a new face must accept this hierarchy if he wanted to fit in their society. Based on their expressions, Saku could guess where he stood in their little ladder. 'Oh, this is getting interesting' thought Saku inwardly.
Suddenly, the empty golden plates were filled with foods in the blink of an eye. However, first year Slytherin students didn't pay the feast in front of them any attention, except for two fat kids.
"Why would you say such an unpleasant word?" replied Saku. His voice unwavering showing no sigh of anger or annoyance.
"What? I said only the truth."
"Yeah, who do you think you are to question us?"
"You haven't ever heard of the term for the filthy people like you."
Saku glanced at the staff table. The students were getting bolder and bolder. 'Didn't the teacher really know about this kind of situation? I doubt this is the first time Slytherins do something like this.' Saku stayed silent the whole dinner and ate his fill, not caring what they were saying. He seemed so leisure that others won't know he was being insulted. Gradually, the first years got tired and ignored him completely. They would something sneer at him but didn't receive any kind of response.
After the feast which wasn't that peaceful, the prefects led the first years to the dungeons where Slytherin dormitory was located. The password was "Purity". Saku couldn't understand how they can be so fixated with this kind of tasteless shit. Ignoring the whispers and murmurs, Saku observed the common room. In his opinion, this room was not strategically beneficial at all for the safety of the students. There was a big windowpane which offered the underwater view of mesmerizing Great Lake. Staying true to the theme, the entire common room was decorated with green and silver furniture. The wide room was dimly lit by fireplace and many candles. The room gave off a luxurious and exotic impression.
Saku and the first years arrived at the rooms. Since there were seven boys this year, the ratio would be 4:3. Unfortunately for Saku, he would have to live with three idiots: two fat brainless followers and one blonde high horse brat. Saku sighed as he followed into the room. As expected, the three kids had occupied their favorite spots and were smiling wickedly at each other although Saku didn't see much difference.
The four-poster beds, draped with green eiderdowns and matching curtains, were complemented by a wooden nightstand and the students' school trunks at their foot. Wooden boards flanked each bed. Close to the nightstand and window stood a wooden chair and dresser. Atop the nightstand rested a book and a piece of parchment.
On the opposite side of the bed, a wooden bookcase brimming with books faced the stone walls and floors. The dormitory featured a green carpet emblazoned with the house crest at its center, flanked by two spherical lamps. Small alcoves nestled on either side of the beds.
He went to his trunks and took out his comfortable clothes. He took a bath and went to his bed. When he came back the other were already sleeping. Lying down and looking at the ceiling, he recalled the day he got a strange thing which called itself "Sukuna System". That day he parted ways with his friends. It could be said that the system arrived at the right time which saved not only him but also his friends.

After entering a state closer to being a spectator of one's own body during that desperate time, he killed many wizards using physical strength. From the explanation from system, Saku found out that the one who occupied his body was called Ryomen Sukuna. Although he didn't know who he is even after all this year, he knew for a fact that Sukuna could contended with the most powerful of wizards and still emerged victorious. He had witnessed that power firsthand. If that power was 40% of his real strength, Saku couldn't imagine how powerful he is when he was at his full power.
The system seemed to have either undeveloped brain or disdain to communicate with him. Saku hadn't even found what exactly is its capabilities. Due to the unresponsive system, he had to slowly uncover its functions by his own. It was like a defective product. Nothing seemed to really work.
It hadn't been long since he found the function of inventory column. He found out that wizards use small pouches and similar items to keep things. Those small pouches were enchanted with undetectable charm to carry bigger and heavier things than its volume can. He experimented for a month and finally realized that he can used his natural mouth to store things. It was a little disgusting at first. But he could use it without any issue.
Thinking of the future when he will have more friends, Saku closed his eyes as he relaxed his body. The tension accumulated over the long journey crept in. The night of Hogwarts was peaceful without disturbances. Arriving at Hogwarts due to Charles' recommendation, he hoped that things will turn out fine.

The next morning, Saku found himself running around the Great Lake. The time was still early and not many students were up yet. Feeling the fresh air rushing inside his lungs, Saku sprinted even faster. He felt like he was the only one at the top of the world. The exhilaration of the exercise made his mood brighter. While running, he encountered a skinny kid, probably first year of a different house, also running in front of him. The skinny boy was not fit and was struggling with his already slow pace. Despite this, Saku was impressed.
Wizards generally do not work out or exercise. They use magic for everything including cooking, cleaning, fighting and so on. They do not have any physical tasks which could not be done through magic. Therefore, as if some law exists, most wizards do not exercise in their entire life. However, using magic they could still live longer and healthier than muggles.
Saku wanted to strike up a conversation but restrained himself. He would have to survey Hogwarts thoroughly first. Only after that will he have the heart to settle down. Thinking this way, Saku deliberately kept away from going near the black hair boy. After some time, he took a bath and wore his robes. The three brats were already gone, probably to the great hall. He too went down the stairs to have breakfast.
