The next day, Christian sat on the roof overlooking the river. He took two portions of the food Sophia had prepared from his storage ring, still as fresh as if they had been made moments ago, and placed them on the table before sitting down to eat with Anastasia.

What was there left to see in Harrisburg?

He had spent nineteen years here, yet there was surprisingly little he felt attached to. Perhaps it was time to move on to the next destination.

That was what he was thinking when a familiar name suddenly came to mind.

"Iris, what happened to Clayton, my high school math teacher?" he asked, taking his phone from his pocket.

[He escaped from prison during the panic caused by several prisoners turning into abominations. He has since returned to his old habits.]

"Old habits?" Christian repeated.

What he remembered about Clayton Murphy was his misconduct as a teacher, but if he had escaped from prison, there was no way he could simply return to the school.
