Secret High Order: Infinity Flow

"As you have been inducted successfully, you would naturally be allotted a Martial Guide to teach you the ways of cultivation. And that person is me, your Big Sister! Isn't that great?"
Lela sounded genuinely happy to have been selected. She was basically bouncing up and down, her long wavy white hair bobbing along, she was vibrating with energy, while holding onto a hardly interested Lu Xie.
Lu Xie pulled her hands back.
"Great," she deadpanned. "If that is all, I will be heading back to my room now."

"Humm."
Lela stopped smiling. The cheerful atmosphere evaporated instantly, replaced by a cold, predatory silence.
"Did your accident from a month ago make you dumb?" she asked, her voice flat and devoid of warmth.
Lu Xie blinked. She realized she had pushed the "dismissive brat" act a little too far. Lela wasn't just a Big Sister; she was a Demoness.
Lu Xie quickly diffused the tension with an awkward laugh.
"Hahaha! I was just joking! It was a joke, Big Sis, don't take it seriously. Naturally, if that was all, you would have just sent a messenger pigeon to my residence."
Lu Xie waved her hand dismissively.
"You clearly have a reason for bringing me here personally, right? And that should be to pick an Art or Skill suited for my new status!"
Lela stared at her for a second longer, assessing her. Then, just as quickly as it had vanished, the bright smile returned.
"As expected of my Martial Student! Both humorous and witty. Hahaha! We will get along well."
Lela patted Lu Xie's shoulder—perhaps a little too hard—before skipping to the staircase.
"Let's head up. The Arts on the ground floor are trash—too uninteresting even for a beginner like you. As my student, you will have access to the good stuff."
She led the way to the upper floors, with Lu Xie and Trisha tagging along.
...
~The Second Floor~
They arrived at the second floor. It was a vast, open space filled with rows of stacked bookshelves and wooden boxes containing bamboo Slips. Despite the number of disciples present, the sheer size of the hall prevented it from feeling crowded.
Lela stopped in the center of the hall.
"Look around for an hour. Pick any Art or Skill you fancy. Meanwhile, Trisha and I will go look at the healing section to pick out something suitable for you."
Lela's eyes gleamed with a hidden meaning.
"We are to reconverge here in an hour. Don't take too long or lose track of time."
With that, the group split.
Lu Xie watched them go, her eyes narrowing slightly through her veil.
She was smart enough to discern the truth immediately. Lela didn't care about picking a healing art; she wanted to isolate Trisha to interrogate her about Lu Xie's behavior last night.
'Go ahead and ask,' Lu Xie thought with a shrug. 'Trisha knows nothing except that I like porridge and hate incense.'
Lu Xie couldn't be bothered to worry about it. She turned her attention to the shelves.
As she walked through the aisles, scanning the various Arts and Skills, she finally understood why this place was called the Hall of Wonders.
It was truly deserving of the name. Each Art was diverse and intriguing, utilizing concepts of Qi flow that were very different from the Nine Heavenly Realms.
However... they weren't to her taste.
As she browsed, the gawking began.
A group of male disciples froze when they saw the girl in white with the veil. They looked at her as if they had just seen the Devil herself.
"Shh! That's her! The one who broke Bavna!"
*L"Don't make eye contact, or she might sentence you to Solitude!"
Lu Xie overheard their frantic whispers and stopped to look at them. The boys turned pale and scrambled away, tripping over their own robes.
'Amusing,' she mused. 'Fear is a useful tool.'
After scouring the place for more than thirty minutes, she finally found something that caught her interest.
It was a dusty, thin manual titled "Infinity Flow."
It was a pretty simple title, and the book looked neglected, but its content was what intrigued Lu Xie the most.
The Art was all about the Endless Changes of Qi. It described three phases to complete this flow:
Transferring
Redirecting
Transforming
Although the three stages sounded grand, the actual content on how to achieve them was vague and poorly written. In fact, to any normal cultivator, this manual looked like the work of a quack—a scam designed to waste a disciple's time.
But Lu Xie saw something else.
'Transfer, Redirect, Transform... This aligns perfectly with my Myriad Mimicry Attribute.'
She picked it not because the manual was good, but because the concep could serve as an impetus for her own inspiration. She could rewrite the "quack" parts herself using her own knowledge.
'I already possess a few Mystic Arts from the Sky Reaching Pagoda, but using them is risky. The Laws of this dimension might reject them, causing a Qi deviation.'
'And my old techniques from the Nine Heavenly Realms? Useless. My current body is too weak to handle them.'
She tapped the manual against her chin.
'However, I have practiced the Green Cuckoo Art briefly. Surprisingly, it is a healing art not sure if it will be compatible with this world. If I combine the Green Cuckoo's with the Infinity Flow's... I might be able to create something unique.'
Lu Xie decided to take the risk.
Before the hour was up, she returned to the convergence point. The other Arts she saw were too disappointing, dashing her enthusiasm.
As she approached, she sighted both Lela and Trisha waiting ahead of time. Trisha looked pale—likely from a rigorous questioning session—while Lela looked satisfied.
"You two couldn't find anything interesting here either, right?" Lu Xie called out, a mischievous grin hidden beneath her face veil.
Lela turned to face Lu Xie.
Her waist twisted in her tight crimson leather clothes like a serpent coiling to strike. Her icy blue eyes crinkled in a smile that was both beautiful and dangerous.
"How can that be?"
Lela stepped forward.
"As a Demoness of the Coven, I know basically all the Mystic Arts stored here and exactly where to find them. I came here specifically for this Art."
She held up a strange, almost white book bound in what looked like scales.
"I just let you play around for an hour in case you found our company boring," Lela explained, her tone dripping with confidence. "But this... this is what you really need."
