Since the monster had gotten away, Silva decided to head towards the city. He had only looked in that direction when a massive blue blast came his way.
Reacting fast, he leaped to the side as he dodged the attack. It slammed into the ice and destroyed it for hundreds of meters; the ice froze up immediately after.
Silva looked ahead. The attack had come from the city. He spotted four figures flying his way as well — they had white wings on their backs and armor that looked like it was made of ice.
Beneath the armor, they looked like humans with extremely pale skin but three blue eyes instead of one.
"Oh shit, it seems I might have triggered them," he said.
They flew in fast, and even before they were in range, they all took out staves. The staves had curved, sharp heads that looked made for cutting, and the same blue balls floated in the curve.
