Upon entering the hall, I drove Adelais's blade into the smooth marble floor, its hilt resonating with a soft chime. Without haste, I retrieved a lollipop from my spatial ring and placed it in my mouth. The sweet flavor spread across my palate, starkly contrasting the metallic tang lingering from the recent skirmish. I cast a languid gaze over the room, allowing my body a moment's reprieve.​

 

The expansive hall before us was crafted in an antique style, where white marble shimmered with silvery hues under the gentle glow of chandeliers. Towering columns reached upward, supporting a ceiling adorned with intricate plasterwork. On either side, coffee tables made from rare woods were surrounded by plush sofas, upholstered in fabrics likely handwoven by Eastern continent artisans. Tall green plants stood in elegant vases near the walls, and at the center, a fountain murmured softly, encircled by a miniature decorative tree with golden leaves.​
