A century ago, Earth was a silent observer in the vast expanse of the universe, blissfully unaware of the infinite and powerful forces lurking just beyond the reach of its atmosphere. The stars had always been a mystery to mankind, but that mystery soon turned into a reality too terrifying to comprehend. On a day like any other, humanity learned that they were not alone.

It began with a disruption—an unprecedented breach in Earth's most sophisticated security systems. Television screens, mobile devices, laptops, all at once across the globe, flickered and glowed with an identical message. The words, though written in languages unknown to human tongues, were clear to all who read them:

"We are coming. Our emissary will arrive in six months."

The world's governments, the secretive organizations, the corporations that dealt in shadows—all were shaken. What force could have effortlessly broken through their digital fortresses? Panic rippled through the masses as the same ominous message echoed in every home, on every device. The unknown had made its presence known, and with it came the most primal of human instincts—fear.

In the upper echelons of power, chaos reigned. Meetings were held in underground bunkers and secure locations, far from the prying eyes of the terrified public. Military leaders, politicians, scientists—none could make sense of the message or its implications. Speculation ran wild. Were they to be invaded? Enslaved? Destroyed?

Theories circulated, but none could prepare them for the reality that awaited. With their backs against the wall, humanity did what it always did when faced with the unknown—it prepared for war. The decision was made in secret: when the emissary arrived, it would be destroyed. Nukes, their most devastating weapons, were ready, poised to strike.

Six months passed in a haze of anxiety. On the day of the emissary's arrival, humanity held its breath. But no grand spaceship descended from the heavens, no fleet of alien vessels darkened the skies. Instead, a figure appeared in the vast emptiness of space. The emissary did not need a ship or armor—he traveled the void of the cosmos by his own power, unbound by the laws of nature that governed Earth.

The leaders of Earth watched with dread as the being descended to the planet's surface. His form was humanoid, yet impossibly elegant and alien. The aura around him rippled with energy beyond anything their science could explain. Fear clenched at the hearts of those watching. Instinct took over—commands were given, and the nuclear strike was launched.

But the emissary, with a simple wave of his hand, rendered the missiles harmless. They disintegrated mid-air, their deadly power swept away like dust in the wind. The world leaders, frozen in terror, realized the depths of their folly. This being—whatever he was—could crush them without effort. Yet, he did not.

With a voice that reverberated in the minds of those present, the emissary spoke of peace. He had not come to destroy humanity, but to prepare them. Their solar system, he explained, had been hidden for eons by a powerful artifact, shielding them from the greater universe. But the artifact was weakening, its protection fading. Soon, Earth and its people will be exposed to the forces of the cosmos.

The emissary revealed that humanity was about to enter a new era, one where they would not just survive, but evolve. The universe was filled with races far more advanced than humans, but also dangerous and competitive. The weak did not last long. And humanity, as it stood, was weak—a Tier 0 race, the lowest in a hierarchy that spanned from Tier 0 to Tier 7.

But there was hope. With the fading of the artifact, a new energy would flood their world—a universal force called mana. This energy could be harnessed to unlock powers, allowing humans to level up their abilities, much like the mythical heroes in their stories. Dungeons, towers, and dimensional pockets would appear across the world, filled with challenges and rewards. By conquering these, humanity could grow stronger, rising through the tires to compete with other races.

The emissary offered no more guidance, no introduction or explanation of his origins. He left as swiftly as he had come, leaving humanity with nothing but uncertainty and the weight of his message.

Not long after his departure, the cosmic energies began to seep into the solar system. Humans soon discovered that mana, the very essence of the universe, could be wielded. Ordinary people began to see windows appear before their eyes, displaying their stats, levels, and even their affinities for certain energies. A new era had dawned, where strength and power were no longer determined by technology alone, but by one's mastery of mana.

The world erupted into chaos. Dungeons materialized out of thin air, towers of unknown origin rose from the earth, and dimensional pockets opened like portals to otherworldly realms. Those brave enough to enter them began to level up, gaining powers that defied the laws of physics. But with power came greed, and with greed came anarchy. Crime soared to unprecedented levels as people fought not just for survival, but for dominance.

It took three long decades for humanity to establish order once more. Governments collapsed and were rebuilt. New laws were forged to bind the chaos into a system that could sustain their new reality. Slowly but surely, humanity adapted. They became stronger, smarter, more organized.

Now, a hundred years after the emissary's first arrival, humanity had climbed the cosmic ladder to Tier 5. They had become the fastest-growing race in the history of the universe, their rise shaking even the oldest and most powerful civilizations to their core. What once seemed like an insurmountable challenge had become their greatest opportunity.

But the universe was still vast, and their journey was far from over. There were still many races stronger than they were, and the threats lurking beyond the stars were greater than ever. Yet for the first time in history, humanity stood on the precipice of becoming something more than just a small race on a blue planet. They were becoming a force to be reckoned with—a force all the universe had no choice but to acknowledge.
