Lucas took off his suit, and hung it on the rack behind the front door, he kicked his shoes off and marched into Sadie's living room, his footsteps gradually swallowed by the news on television.
"What are you watching?" He asked, shifting his attention from Sadie, to the reporters on screen.
On hearing his voice, she tried to get up. Lucas rushed over and helped her off her feet. "Be careful when you stand up, you could hurt yourself." He gently cautioned her.
Sadie shook her head. "Forget about that for a moment, look! Brooke just admitted to being married to Mr Halton!" She pointed at the television.
Lucas nodded, "Yeah, I saw it. I've been getting calls from some endorsers, and other producers, looking for an exclusive scoop. Everyone's curious about it." he said, walking over to the fridge.
He reached in and took out a can of beer, "It's no wonder he came on set during filming and insisted on seeing her."
