Right after this conversation, Paul went to the neighboring mansion and met with Madam Gu.
-Have you come to start the treatment of my daughters?
The woman asked as soon as the servant brought him to her.
-Indeed, but as I said before, this will take time, and I can't promise that they will be fully healed.
Paul confirmed.
-Even if they are only partially healed, it is still better than the state they are in right now.

Paul nodded.

But as soon as the seal collapsed, the young lady gasped, taking a deep breath, like she was unable to breathe correctly till now, and a sound came from her mouth for the first time in a long while.
Seeing and hearing this, Madam Gu started shedding tears, relieved that the treatment worked, and her daughter was now a bit better.
-I need some time before I can do this again.
Paul said in a tired voice.
