Chapter 259 - Chapter 259 Evolving Physique.

-Sei, what is going on with me?

Paul asked once he was sure that no one would interrupt his ladies.

He wanted to know why he became so strong and what other changes his body might have gone through.

-I don't know for sure, but I have a theory that could explain all of this.

Paul's reincarnation soul manifested beside him.

-So it's safe to say that you never experienced anything like this?

-No, can't say that I have.

Sei shook his head.

-The main stage breakthroughs do give a significant boost to one's physical abilities, but yours are way too drastic.

When I reached the beginning realm, I was not as powerful as you have become, and there was no way for me to take nine women on and satisfy all of them without breaking a sweat, not to mention the absurd amount of energy that your Yang Qi now has.

The soul admitted.

-Then what's your theory, because I have no idea what's going on and whether it's good or bad.

-The only thing I was able to come up with is the evolution of your physique.

It is rare, and I never witnessed it with my own eyes, but I heard about such cases.

-Alright, but what does that mean for me?

Paul asked, worried about his future cultivation.

-If what I heard about it is true, then your physique will evolve every time you break through to the next major stage, increasing your powers and strength many times more than normal.

-That doesn't seem that bad.

Paul commented, as he liked the idea of becoming more powerful.

-It's not, but there is a danger to it.

Sei said, seriously.

-You know that powerful clans and factions always try to recruit the most talented individuals?

The soul asked, and Paul nodded.

- If your physique is truly evolving, then you have just become a primary target for anyone who discovers it, and they won't simply take a no for an answer.

-Well, that's nothing new.

Why do you think I try to hide that I'm a double cultivator and an arch-mage?

Paul asked, as this was common knowledge, and he was a target from the start.

-This time it's more serious than that.

Even if someone discovered your double cultivation and that you're and arch-mage to boot, your status as a healer could have shielded you, since no one would join a clan or an organization that harmed a healer, making the potential troublemakers reconsider and leave you alone.

However, if they discover that you have an evolving physique, then there won't be anything that will stop them from either recruiting you or preventing other powers from doing the same.

-We don't even know for sure that I have an evolving physique.

Paul said, hoping that it was not the case, as this could bring a lot of trouble to him and his ladies.

-We can find out, and truth be told, it would also explain why the heavens would allow me to be resurrected with my old physique.

Lord Sei said after thinking about it for a while.

Paul understood what he meant, and he had to admit that this made a lot of sense.

So without hesitation, he took out a physique-revealing crystal and dropped some of his blood onto it.

The visualization of his physique was almost identical to what he remembered.

-Wait, take a good look at the dragon's head.

Sei, said in disbelief.

As soon as Paul followed his instruction, he saw that the dragon was indeed a bit different than what he remembered, as it had three horns on its head instead of two, and that was not the only change in the vision, as there were more stars visible than he remembered.

-This is all the proof that we need.

Sei said, seriously.

-Your physique is evolving, and there is no way to know what its final form will be.

The soul stated the obvious.

-Does that mean that my cultivation technique will stop working soon?

Paul asked, as it seemed possible, and he had no idea where he would even find a technique for an evolved physique.

-It works for now, so the changes are not that drastic, and if it stops working, there is always a way to adjust it.

These words calmed Paul down, as it was a very important matter for him.

-Anyway, you should keep this a secret if you don't want to invite a lot of trouble to yourself and your ladies.

It might also be a good idea for you to use the opportunity of having more cultivation partners to explore how much you changed, other than being able to extract more energy from their Yin Qi.

This was a good suggestion, since after he cultivated the Yin Qi of his ladies, his cultivation went up by two levels, which was a lot.

-Let's wait with that for Anna, Su, and Elaina to finish their breakthrough.

I have a hunch that they will not approve of how many cultivation partners I accepted in a short time.

-You will have the chance to ask them about it shortly, since it seems that they are all stabilizing their powers and should be out of their seclusion soon.

SEi was not wrong, as two hours later, Su was done with her seclusion, reaching the beginning stage of cultivation, and within the next four hours, the other two ladies were done as well.

The first thing they wanted was to take a bath, after which Paul told them what was going on while they were in seclusion.

As he predicted, they were not that happy, hearing about all the cultivation partners he accepted so far.

Not that they didn't expect this, but they still didn't like it.

They changed their minds when Paul told them what happened to the rest of the ladies after only one cultivation session with him, at which he took them all on and won without breaking a sweat.

The three ladies assigned this to his higher cultivation stage and even saw it as a challenge, directed at them.

Naturally, they accepted and paid for it when Paul took all three of them on and made them plead for mercy, which he was not inclined to show them. After a few sentences, they said, while being confident that they could take him on.

This was a pleasurable, but also terrifying, lesson for the three of them, and they swore never to challenge him again.

-Damn, Paul, you really turned into a beast, Anna said, once she could speak again, as all three ladies were too tired once he was done with them.

-That's what you get for implying that I'm not man enough to take the three of you on.

Paul smiled mischievously at her sour expression.

All three ladies now regretted poking the bear, and had a hard time figuring out how he defeated them so easily, while their cultivation was almost the same, and it was three on one.
