When she turned around, she suddenly noticed someone standing at the doorway, looking in their direction quietly.
Gu Nanqiao saw the vulnerability on her face and gave her a reassuring smile, then opened the door and came in, bending over the man lying in the hospital bed.
With his eyes closed, there was none of the previous hostility.
Gu Nanqiao withdrew her gaze and gently patted Su Yan's shoulder as a form of comfort, "If you're tired, go and rest for a while. I'll stay here."
Su Yan lightly shook her head, "I'm not tired."
