"No need to work overtime today?" Zhou Mingchen asked curiously, seeing that she wasn't working in her room for once. "You've been diving straight in as soon as you're home recently; you wouldn't come out until you sleep."
Xia Lu rubbed her hands, feeling conflicted. She wanted Zhou Mingchen to give her some advice, but didn't want him to feel like he was doing her a huge favor—a balance that was hard to strike. Just then, she noticed the old model phone Zhou Mingchen was holding, eerily similar to the one she discovered in the study earlier.
"Whose phone are you holding?" she asked curiously. Xia Lu looked carefully; although both were old models, the phone he was holding was completely different from the one earlier, not the same phone.
"Mine," Zhou Mingchen said openly, without dodging the question, "any problem?"
