Wang Manzhu pushed open the gate of their courtyard and called loudly into the house.
"Daman, Erman, Saman, the kids' mom, hurry out to greet the guests. The teachers from the city have come to visit our home, and today they'll be dining with us."
Upon hearing this, there was a loud bang as the door swung open.
Three men, appearing to be in their thirties, rushed out to stand before them.
It was obvious; these three looked remarkably like old Wang himself, as if they had been carved from the same mold. They must be his sons. Though in their thirties, each had eyes glinting like a wolf, especially when they saw the three women, their gazes sharp like daggers.
Principal Li hurriedly spoke up.
"Daman, Erman, Saman, aren't you going to invite the guests inside? Why are you just staring? Although strangers seldom come to our village, it's impolite to scrutinize them like this.
In a while, you might scare away the three teachers. You'll have me to answer for then."
