"Nianhua, a woman's gotta get married someday. Sure, he's a little older than you, but a few years older means he'll know how to take care of you, right?"
Xu Qinghu kept trying to persuade her, saying, "Once you marry him, you'll be a city person, you'll have a house in the county. Your big brother will have the money to get himself a wife, and you'll be able to honor your parents. Just look at how nice things will be!"
"Who knows, maybe next year you'll be moving into a brand-new house."
Xu Qinghu acted like she was all concerned for Xu Nianhua, making Nianhua feel utterly disgusted. She stepped back, trying not to show it.
"Even if I have to stay single my whole life, I won't ruin my little sister's life!" Xu Nianji hobbled out, leaning on a stick, and shouted at Xu Qinghu.
"Nianji, I'm your aunt. I'm just looking out for you, why are you yelling at me?" Xu Qinghu said, annoyed.
"If you were really my aunt, you'd never do something like this!"
