The incident at the supply and marketing cooperative wasn't handled well, and Xu Zhihao only felt that all his ambition had nowhere to go. Now with the new canning factory, he thought, he'd definitely make a lot of money and make his parents proud.
He'd heard that Ji Ying was working at the food factory, making some kind of chili paste, but it was just a job, acting like she was all that. Once he got into the canning factory, he'd be a manager right off the bat!
When that time comes, wouldn't everyone in the village be scrambling to curry favor with him?
"Really?" Zhao Juxiang's heart immediately fluttered after hearing this.
"Mom, just think, once I'm in charge at the canning factory, we won't have to worry about Uncle's family starting another furniture factory or getting into the food factory. Your son will be the boss, and anybody who wants to get into the canning factory will need my approval and a nod from me."
Xu Zhihao said it all with an air of pride.
