"Yeah, I was memorizing vocabulary this morning while picking strawberries. Honestly, it felt amazing." Xu Nianhua looked at the strawberry field in front of her with special fondness. Whenever the strawberries ripened, she loved coming here to pick them for her family. If there were too many, she'd bring some to school and share them with everyone.
Last week, she even picked a big basket for her second brother.
"Nianhua, I'm so jealous of you," Liao Jinling said, pouting dramatically.
"Exactly, we're jealous of you too!"
Ding Guo chimed in.
Chang Hui and Zhou Wanwan had already started crouching down to pick strawberries. Chang Hui said, "Nianhua, I feel like being in Dorm 302 is the best thing ever!"
"Me too," Zhou Wanwan agreed. "I'm so glad I got to meet all of you!"
"We were excited for you when you found your real parents."
