"Mom, I don't like my little sister." An'an looked at his baby sister in the cradle, then ran over to Xu Nianhua, staring uneasily at her belly with his big eyes.
"Why?" Xu Nianhua raised her eyebrows. Wasn't this the same child who wanted a little sister at first?
It hasn't even been that long, and he's already changed his mind.
"Sister is bad." An'an pursed his lips, his watery big eyes looking at Xu Nianhua, saying, "Mom hurts."
When Pei Yicheng carried Xu Nianhua to the hospital, An'an's little legs climbed into the car as well. Even though his elder sister comforted him, explaining that's what happens when you have a baby, An'an was still scared.
"Be good."
Xu Nianhua felt so warm inside. She gently stroked An'an's little head and said, "It was like this when Mom had you, too. Your sister is still small. An'an, you're the big brother now—how can you dislike your little sister?"
