Over a month into the semester, everyone had basically adapted to university life. Once the novelty wore off, some of the more outgoing students started forming various social clubs.
In this era, with not much entertainment around, almost every club that started up quickly filled up with eager members, with no distinction between popular and unpopular ones.
Chuxia wasn't interested in this at all, so when Lin Mengran, Yang Xiaoli, and a couple of others were chattering about club-related news around her, she just quietly listened without giving any opinions.
However, the others mistook her silence for loneliness, and each time they reached a lively part of the conversation, noticing her expression, they would hastily stop and seemingly unintentionally change the subject.
