This tree is truly a towering giant. Su Nanzhi swam along the trunk upwards, not knowing how long, she can now breathe underwater, and aside from being a test of endurance, it's quite alright.
She wonders how those terrestrial mythical beasts will survive this sudden disaster.
But survival of the fittest, Su Nanzhi can hardly protect herself, let alone others.
What she didn't expect was that when emerging from the water, she saw clusters of white clouds and vibrant afterglow hidden behind them, so dazzlingly beautiful.
And above the clouds, there lies another world.
Su Nanzhi saw the Azure Dragon swirling within the clouds, the mythological prince of the heavens. Chinese people revere dragons; in mythology, the dragon symbolizes the divine.
But dragons come in many kinds, with many often using horned serpents to impersonate them and elevate their own status.
