Luo Cheng had been waiting outside Anji Hall since early morning, and when Zhao Yuebei opened the door, the first person he saw was Luo Cheng.
"Young Master, why are you here? Are you looking for Doctor Shao for some matter?"
Zhao Yuebei was deeply impressed by him because rarely did men abase themselves so much to women, enduring scolds and beatings without ever fighting back.
"Doctor Shao asked me to come here and wait." Knowing the secretive nature of his mission, Luo Cheng did not elaborate further.
Upon hearing this, Zhao Yuebei immediately invited him in to wait and even made a cup of hot tea for him while curiously asking, "How are you and your wife doing now?"
Luo Cheng knew what he was inquiring about and said with a smile, "I have divorced, left the house with my child, and because I sometimes have no means for the next meal, Doctor Shao, seeing my plight, found me a job."
