Shao He followed Mo Chenran out of the woods, where a carriage was already waiting.
"Crown Princess Consort, please."
Mo Chenran raised his arm to help her onto the carriage.
Shao He gave him a faint look and did not reach out to take his hand, instead lifting her skirt and grasping the carriage door to board herself.
Mo Chenran raised an eyebrow, lowered his arm, and followed her onto the carriage.
In the carriage, Mo Chenran leaned against the cushion, closing his eyes to rest, while Shao He looked out through a gap in the carriage curtains.
"Crown Princess Consort, no need to look anymore, we have already left the Capital City," Mo Chenran opened his clear eyes and looked sideways at Shao He.
"Stop calling me Crown Princess Consort."
"Then how should I address you?"
"Doctor Shao."
Mo Chenran chuckled lightly, "Does Doctor Shao dislike the title of Crown Princess Consort, the identity itself, or perhaps dislike being married to the Crown Prince?"
