Soon, her door was surrounded by the village chief and his people.

"It has nothing to do with me," Yan Wanqing said calmly.

She looked at Uncle Jin, who had red-rimmed eyes and exuded anger, and repeated, "Uncle Jin, I had no quarrel or grudge with Aunt Hua. It's impossible for me to harm her. Besides, why would I leave the body at my own doorstep? Clearly, someone intends to frame me."

Uncle Jin sat on the ground holding Auntie Hua's body, looking a decade older.
