Chapter 566 - Chapter 566 I Can Sue You For Defamation

Samui knew about the Uchiha Clan, but didn't know who Sasuke was. When Naruto introduced himself that way, she simply assumed it was his name and didn't think much of it.

It is normal to have a name but no surname in the Shinobi World, not to mention how many wandering orphans there are.

While the Five Great Shinobi Countries cannot be said to be in dire straits, it is not an exaggeration to say that poverty was widespread.

"Alright, I agree." Samui nodded.

"Very good." Naruto snapped his fingers and the Redwood Bind immediately released Samui.

The next second, a thought suddenly popped up in her mind, asking her if she truly wished to become a follower of Jashin. In that fleeting moment, Samui hesitated.

But when she saw Naruto staring at the camera, she gritted her teeth and chose yes. The thought vanished in an instant, and at the next moment, Samui felt that something seemed to be wrong with her body.

She couldn't pinpoint exactly what at first. But when she looked up and met Naruto's eyes, she suddenly understood. The hatred, her hatred was gone.

Just moments ago, she had wanted to tear him apart, but now… she couldn't bring herself to hate him.

'It's over, something is wrong. Something is very wrong!'

"What did you do to me?" Samui gripped her blade, her expression shifting dramatically.

"Nothing. Don't frame me. I haven't even had the chance to do anything yet." Naruto also denied it directly, "You can't just throw out baseless accusations like that. I can sue you for defamation, you know!"

"You bastard!!!" Samui clenched her teeth. Even with her normally composed personality, she now realized that she had definitely fallen into a trap, and it was impossible to remain calm.

Naruto pulled up his system panel, and sure enough, Mission Line III had progressed by another ten percent, now nearly halfway complete. At the same time, Samui's status page popped up.

[Samui]

[Kumogakure - Jonin - Female - 27 years old]

[Jashin Follower – Controllable (Options Hidden)]

[Talent: Short Blade Assault]

[Evaluation: A beautiful lady who is well-educated and has a cool personality.]

"I didn't force you to do anything. You chose this yourself."

Seeing that his goal was achieved, Naruto shrugged and tossed the camera to Samui.

Her gaze turned icy as she caught the camera. She glanced at it briefly, and then immediately stomped it to pieces.

"Hey, that was expensive." Naruto felt a little distressed. After all, he wasn't exactly a billionaire anymore.

"Destroying the film was enough… did you really have to wreck the whole camera? So violent…"

"Hehe, just wait until dawn. Once the Kumogakure's Anbu realizes I'm missing, the entire village will go on lockdown." Samui smirked coldly at Naruto.

"Is the Kumogakure's Anbu really that impressive?" Naruto frowned slightly.

"What do you think? No matter where you hide, they'll find you." Samui tilted her head and looked sideways at Naruto.

Naruto studied her expression for a moment, then he controlled the red branches to tie her up again, restraining her once more in the same 'traditional' style.

This time, he didn't even bother to say anything, and just started beating her up.

"It's not even dawn yet, so let me beat you up first."

"Ahhh!"

"Ah, what? If you scream, I'll hit you even harder!" Naruto never had any mercy on women, and he would beat anyone who was so arrogant.

After all, they are enemies, so the harder he hit, the better.

He now began to be annoyed by the fact that being a Jashin's follower didn't to come with any brainwashing effects.

Although as long as someone was added to his mission panel, there would be a bond between them, but the influence of this bond comes too slowly, and all it did was stop them from hating or betraying him.

It didn't magically make her like him, and there were no god-tier, affection-boosting buffs.

After a long, thorough beating, Samyi Samui became obedient, hanging her head without saying a word.

"Well, I'm not afraid to tell you that this time, I'm coming for Kumogakure." Naruto clapped his hands and said bluntly, "Don't worry, I'll release you before dawn."

"You suddenly have a kind heart?" Samui raised her head skeptically.

"Of course. My best trait is my honesty, followed closely by my kindness." He declared shamelessly, "But don't bother wasting your energy."

"You won't be able to share any information about me with anyone."

After saying that, he reached out and tapped Samui's forehead.

"It's all here. I didn't do anything weird to you, and just added a layer of insurance. I'm sure you don't mind. It's better for both of us."

Samui thought to herself, 'Is it useful if I mind?'

Samui wanted to glare at him with hatred, but she couldn't, and that realization irritated her even more.

Naruto thoroughly enjoyed that look in her eyes.

Before dawn, he finally released her… though she was in a rather disheveled state.

At dawn.

Yugito, who had tossed and turned all night and had not slept much, tensed when she heard movement in the living room. Her body reacted instantly, flipping out of bed.

She cracked open the door and looked into the living room, and then breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that it was Naruto who had returned.

"Did the mission go smoothly?" She asked nonchalantly as she stepped out of her room. She casually headed toward the bathroom as if she wasn't interested.

"It went smoothly… I guess." Naruto stared at Yugito's chest with a strange look on his face.

Yugito immediately felt his gaze and furrowed her brows. A look of annoyance crossed her face and she wanted to say something, but stopped halfway.

A few seconds later, she simply asked, "You didn't do anything to Samui, did you?"

"Do what?" Naruto looked confused.

"You know…" Yugito struggled to explain, then simply clapped her hands together a few times.

"Huh? What do you mean by that?" He rolled his eyes, " Is that how you see me? I suggest you be careful with your words… slander has consequences."

"Isn't it true?" Yugito leaned against the bathroom doorframe, "You've been looking more and more… hungry lately. Every time you glance at me, I feel nervous."

After spending so much time together, their conversations had become more casual. Yugito no longer held back when teasing him, occasionally being outright blunt.

Hearing this, Naruto was speechless, but the reality left him no room for rebuttal.

"Anyway, actions matter more than intentions. The bigger picture is what's important… I can at least keep that straight." He argued, trying to justify himself, "Besides, I was just looking around, not at you."

"Don't you know that girls are very sensitive to gazes on certain parts of their body?" She sneered.

"You're still a virgin?" Naruto was surprised.

Bang!

The bathroom door slammed shut with force.

"Crazy!" Naruto muttered irritably before turning and heading to his room.

"I must be going crazy!" Samui knelt on the living room floor, clutching her head, and let out a pained howl, "Why... why can't I write it down?!"

There was a pen and a piece of paper in front of her. She had tried writing down the news of Naruto's infiltration, only to find that she physically couldn't do it.

She had already attempted saying it out loud just moments ago… only to fail miserably.

So, Samui decided to change tactics and write it down instead. She could hand it over to the Anbu or directly submit it to Yondaime Raikage. But after several attempts, she realized she was completely incapable of doing so.

Even though she had already thought out exactly what to say in her mind, the moment it involved Naruto, she simply couldn't say it. She couldn't write it. She couldn't even use objects to hint at it.

It seems that there is an invisible curse in her mind, one that will prevent any act of betrayal. She could think about it, but she couldn't convey it.

'This was absolutely ridiculous!!!'

"Aargh!!! Damn it!!" Samui collapsed forward, pounding the floor, a certain part of her body bouncing repeatedly.

After struggling in vain, she entered the second state, calmness.

Sitting on the sofa, Samui carefully reviewed everything that had happened. Considering what Naruto had said about coming for Kumogakure, she started to speculate about his objectives.

'The way he had ruthlessly attacked me didn't seem like the work of some innocent rookie. He even knew how to avoid vital points and strike only where it hurt the most. He was clearly an expert… one who made his victims suffer both physically and mentally.'

After thinking it through, she decided to make contact with Naruto again. Perhaps, she could extract more useful intel.
