Saying this, he turned to the accompanying soldiers behind him and said, "Who brought a quill or ink bottle? Quickly, hand it over!"

The accompanying soldiers looked at each other, and finally, a short soldier carrying a briefcase nervously rummaged for a moment, producing a half-worn quill and a brown ink bottle. The ink bottle seemed like it had been dropped in the snow, with a chipped crack near the mouth.

The lieutenant glanced at the bottle's mouth, "Make do with it."

The deputy director looked at the nearly broken quill, half sincerely raised his eyebrows, "Didn't expect even on duty you carry pens, just like a cultured college student."
