Chu Zheng stood up, collected Chu An, and nurtured it within the depths of his body using Chaotic Primordial Qi. Then, his gaze penetrated the endless gloom and deathly stillness of the Vast Universe, directing his sight toward another place of rebirth and silence.
Burial Valley.
With a thought, his form melded into the void. In an instant, the surrounding scene transformed again. He had moved from the dark ocean's edge of the Soul Origin Pool to another entirely different, yet eerily terrifying area.
The structure of Burial Valley was utterly different from the pure soul congregation of the Soul Origin Pool.
Before him lay an unimaginably large valley, with cliffs on either side towering into the dim sky, their tops unseen.
These cliffs were not ordinary rocks, but crimson expanses, seemingly forged from living flesh, with vein-like patterns resembling blood vessels faintly pulsating on the surface, exuding a nauseatingly intense scent of blood and a nearly primal life force.
