Not long after returning home, Hei Pi showed up.
"Yang Zi, I'm off work. Should we go to Shangshan Village or head to town first?" Hei Pi asked as he entered the house.
Chen Yang heard the commotion from the clinic and immediately set down the herbs he was washing and went out.
"Let's head to Shangshan Village first. It's no problem if your friend comes by later." Chen Yang said.
"Alright, shall we set off now, or...?" Hei Pi readily agreed.
"Give me a moment, I need to get ready."
"Okay, I'll wait for you."
Hei Pi nodded and then pulled up a chair to sit down in the clinic.
Chen Yang went to the backyard to speak with Yang Ruoxi.
"Ruoxi, I'm heading out for something, so I won't be back for dinner. You guys sort it out yourselves tonight." Chen Yang said.
"Okay, go ahead. I'll tell the others."
Yang Ruoxi nodded in agreement obediently.
"Alright, I'm off then."
