At this point, it was getting late, so Chen Yang discussed with Old Sun to take a look at the cages set up elsewhere on their way back.
If they caught any other animals, they would bring them down the mountain together. If not, they would leave them there for the time being and check again tomorrow.
For today, they would head down the mountain first.
Because it wasn't safe to descend too late.
Old Sun listened to Chen Yang and didn't say much, just nodded in agreement.

Seeing that Old Sun had no objections, Chen Yang proceeded accordingly.
They checked the other cages along the way.

Only the last cage they checked captured a wild wolf; there was nothing else.
Chen Yang took the wolf along and headed down the mountain.
The group set out at four and didn't return to Liu He Village until nearly six.
Back in the village, they happened to catch the off-duty rush hour for the village's industry.
