"If he didn't come, why are you back?" Liu Zi was furious. He was in this state, and Yang Rong hadn't even brought the doctor back.
He blurted this out without thinking, and the words left a bad taste in Yang Rong's mouth. She regretted having rushed out to find Wang Jian; it had clearly been pointless. This Liu Zi is not a good partner, not a good man, and certainly not a good person.
Yang Rong had been a little worried about performing the acupuncture herself, but seeing Liu Zi act like this, her concerns vanished, and she was no longer in any hurry. She began to speak in a slow, deliberate manner. "I happened to run into Wang Jian at the entrance to the village committee. Hearing it wasn't a big deal, Liu Zi breathed a sigh of relief, his entire body relaxing.
