Lin Cang means being close to Cangyuan Mountain, with the entire path encompassing the three prefectures of Zhaoyan, Heiyun, and Junyang, one of the five paths of Zhongzhou, located west of the Capital Region Path. Further west, it leads to the first majestic mountain of Shenzhou, the Cangyuan Mountain Range, which divides the northern eight provinces.
The Cangyuan Mountain Range runs north to south, with towering peaks that even ordinary martial artists cannot cross. There is only one place in the entire range passable, known as the first majestic pass of the world, Hulao Pass.
Because the mountain range happens to divide the two provinces of Zhong and Ji from the six northern provinces dominated by the Demon Path, after the ten Holy Lands divided the world, this place naturally became the boundary between the Righteous and Demon Paths.
