Before making a move, Carl had one more thing to do.
He went to the market to find the Artifact Refiner Lynn and inquire about the Inheritance Witchcraft that could supposedly release Holy Light.
"It's not Holy Light, but a special Purification Spirit Light. It has a strong suppressive effect on dark evil spirits and undead creatures."
Lynn took out a Magic Wand embedded with a crystal at the top and smiled.
"The price is two thousand Magic Stones!"
"Two thousand?" Carl's expression darkened. "Isn't that too expensive?"
"This Magic Wand is not of high Tier, and the Purification Spirit Light isn't of much use either. Even a thousand Magic Stones would be a high price."
A few hundred Magic Stones would be more like it.
"Yes," Lynn shrugged, not denying it.
"That's why I haven't been able to sell it. However, I thought I would find a suitable buyer—like you, my friend."
"I suppose you have a need for it, and the so-called price depends on whether you need it or not."
