"Lynn?"
"Yes."
"Come with me."
A pale-faced middle-aged woman called out to Lynn, leading him towards the area where the wizards reside.
"I have good news for you."
The middle-aged woman spoke:
"You have been exceptionally recalled to the academy to become an official academy apprentice without needing any assessment. You can go and get your apprentice robe in a moment."
"Oh!" Lynn's eyes lit up.
Although he was confident about retaking the exam, it would take a few months. Joining the academy now would save him those months, which was certainly a good thing.
"Wizard Jito sees great potential in your future and specifically accepted you as his disciple, granting you this privilege." The middle-aged woman turned around, her eyes deep with meaning:
"Be grateful."
"Yes." Lynn nodded, his eyes flickering slightly:
"Are you a puppet?"
He had just thought her complexion was too pale, and upon closer inspection, that wasn't human skin at all.
