Some familiar with his face showed slight changes in expression.
The Second Prince, Gu Mu, wore armor, shedding his former gentleness for increased valor, leaning on a longsword with rising brows. The middle-aged man on his right held the Jade Seal, with several retainers lined up behind him. Even Jin Gaochi, usually seen as a scholar, was in armor, exuding fierce energy.
Among the crowd, only one wore white.
Gu Mu stepped forward, deeply inhaled, and proclaimed aloud:
