And what truly made the Nelrost Civilization famous happened fifty years ago, when a group of stowaways from the Federation, out of curiosity, secretly entered Nelrost territory, where they were captured and detained by the Nelrost Civilization.
The Federation pressured the Nelrost Civilization to release the people, and initially, Nelrost resisted. However, after the Star Alliance intervened, they agreed to release the captives.
Yet, on the day of release, Nelrost played a little trick by not releasing the people from the designated border passage.
Instead, they released them from another area. By the time the Federation personnel arrived, they were met with a pile of spaceship wreckage.
The Nelrost Civilization claimed they had nothing to do with it, attributing it to rogue interstellar pirates, which caused quite a stir at the time.
Though displeased, the Federation couldn't possibly traverse such a distance to attack a civilization that was not weak.
